Obion County Central!!!!!

Obion is going to be about 10 players deep this season with alot of guys battling to see who gets more playing time....Blake Davis, Matt Harner and Justin Owens are some of the guys who werent in the program last year and will be a very big help to the team this year....With the return of players like Gilliam, R Davis, Lee, King, Miller,Parker and Gibson the rebels are in for a great season...And the rebels did play very well this summer, and the 11 point loss to crockett was without Blake Davis who is one of obions best scorers....With the new additions and the guys comming back look for this to be the best rebel season since Coach Whitby left....Hopefully this years rebel team will restore the old rebel tradition......

the 1st home game will be against gosnell ark on dec 1st....as for how the rebels will do district and record wise....I would say atleast a little over .500 and 2nd in the district.....

1.Crockett 2.Obion 3.Dyer 4.Dyersburg 5.Milan 6.Westview 7.Gibson I believe it can be either obion or dyer @ #2 but since im a OC fan i had to go with my rebels.....And after seeing obion and dyer play this summer i believe obion has the edge with a few players returning. OC will be a tough team this year....

Coacht, Abby Reedy Obion County girls basketball player and Bryant Cruce Obion County Football player have both recently signed with Lambuth......

wt13..........That player may have led the team in rebounds in that certain year, but let me refresh your memory......OC only won...hmmmmm....4 games!!!!!....This year without that player....they won...hmmm....10, and a region tournament birth.The years that player played for oc , they did not even get past the 1st round of district...So in my opinion "COACH JONES" did know what he was doing when he let those seniors go.....And yes I did say COACH JONES!!!! Thats all I got!!!

I believe marquis is mid-major material.....he would be a good fit at a murray state, austin peay, or utm......

i was around the tunnel where mitchell went to dress and i saw #14 and #5 get into it....another player tried to break them up but i dont remember his #....

i agree rebelron...barry stewart is a great player...i was at the state tournament and he put on one of the best preformances i have seen in a while......is there any schools he is considering????Any offers?

if the student section is going to be on the floor it will have to be on the visitors side b/c the lower level on the home side will have stadium seats that will be offered to people who buy season tickets

Any word on the coach for next season????Is there any known canidates?????From what i have recently heard the last coach isn't out of the question yet.....and i dont mean moss.....

there will also be a section of bleachers in the upper level on the north end of the gym....this would be a good place for the student section to be!!!!!And i also like the rebel train at central station has a nice ring to it.....

Its a shame that two of the best teams in AA will be elimnated in the 1st round. But i will have to say Mitchell over Liberty in the championship!!!!
