Well, Red Boiling Springs has Lacey Colter and a Sub-State trip from last year. Friendship has Morrisett and Burroughs returning from last year. Don't know much about the rest of the district with Gordonsville, Trousdale & Watertown. Do you see it changing from last year?

No....Matt "Bubba" Insell is an assistant at Kentucky. Tom is the oldest and runs the TN Flight program.

I think that everyone that coaches knows the rules, but thank you for making it a point to remind them.

Why would you say Allison Clark will get the job, isn't Cory Barrett and Tom Insell just as deserving? When are they going to name a coach, after the second camp? All three that everyone knows of that got an interview where at the camp this past week to watch the team. Even heard the Tennessean sent a reporter down to scope things out. What's the lastest on this Shelbyville thing?

Wonder if Harlow is getting an interview? Will Mac ever get a chance at being a head coach after all of those years as an assistant?

Could they hire Mr. Fanning? Will they keep the same staff?

I highly doubt either of them are interested in a Class A coaching job. Plus, in order to coach at Moore County you have to be willing to listen to the other coaches in the bleachers and neither of those two would do that. The community has a lot of input on the girls team there, and it has worked for them so far, so I don't see that changing. Really and truly, Helton should just do it (he coaches them in the summer and he coaches them from across the gym during high school season anyways so go ahead and put him on the bench), and they probably wouldn't miss a beat. Regardless of who gets it, they have a legitimate shot at a Gold Ball this year. Should be interesting to see who they hire.

Who is the front runner for the Franklin County job?

Do you see Allison Clark or Tom Insell getting interest from this position? Think they would be a good fit for a team that just made state finals?

Wonder when they will start interviewing people and how many? I'm sure they will not have a coach in place by their 1st team camp. Who will they get to coach them during camp: Harlow, Mac, Thompson, Rich?

He will do a good job there. He has them playing harder than I have seen in a long time.

It will be interesting to see who goes to what jamborees and how they do. I don't think you can count 8-A out yet. You never know what will happen.

I wonder if the manager, Bud (Kirk), gets a carry or two for this game. It would be nice to see him play.
