Congrats Anderson County... Coach Davey Gillium in my opinion is one of the best coaches in tennessee..... im pretty sure that the AC fans and community will be happier with him than anyone else they could've put in the drivers seat.. I wish I could have made the game and enjoyed such a great game, but i decided to go watch the indians get beat, which is as good as anderson county winnin...

Don't let their record fool you.. they have lost 2 games in overtime to york and kingston... in the kingston game scott county fumbled with 30 seconds left and kingston took it in for a score to tie it up... last night against stone they just didnt show up.. they knew they were the better team and expected to walk all over them like they have the last 3 years and ended up gettin beat. they also let a good loudon team get out of scott county with a win that scott county should have won.... this aint a bad team. they just simply aint played to their potential yet... hopefully they will this coming friday... im hopin i can make the trip over there to see them play. its been a while since they have been in playoffs. the past few years they have been in the same region with teams like fulton, austin east, catholic, anderson county, and kingston.. now with the new alignment they are in the same region as alcoa, cak, loudon, kingston, stone memorial.

Scott is rollin off a massacre against Upperman. I dont think Stone played this past week.. Who do u think will win? and if stone wins are they automatically in?

Come on smashmouth u know its true.. it aint hard to look good, make few mistakes, make good blocks, make big hits, and be intense an entire ball game when ur playin teams like oakdale or coalfield or jellico.. they are simply bad bad teams.. oneida beats all the bad teams through the regular season except for when the play average teams. for example, dekalb county which are average to above average.. ive watched them play. and when they reach the playoffs they get beat...

Oneida will gain my respect only when they start beating good teams.. it aint hard to line up and beat oakdales, sunbrights, and jellicos of the world.... they dont even play anyone average until the playoffs.. if they can beat good teams then they will have my respect..

GREAT decision... any player whether it be brandon warren or even if it was eric berry... if u blow up on a coach u should be done regardless.

Don't let Scott County's 2-3 record fool ya all.. this is a good football team... they lost to york in ot 24-27... in which the refs called a holding on a pick 6 with about 2 mins left in the game to cost scott the game... they was up 27-21 against kingston with 30 seconds left when their qb dropped the snap and kingston scooped and scored... 2 rough ways to lose a football nevertheless... but this is a good scott team.. and the other loss was to alcoa...

im not even from scott county im from anderson county but i have always loved to watch scott and york play.. 2 physical teams that really dont like each other.. if u wanna know the truth i wasnt dressed in highlander red or dragon purple i was dressed in maverick blue... and i know it as well as the folks from jamestown know that the refs stole the game from them boys in red... i watched 2 HORRIBLE calls that are game winners with under 3 mins to go in the 4th that put the highlanders up by a td.. anyhow congrats to cannon county.. if i aint mistaken they play scott later in the season so we will just see how that plays out...

i cant believe that u all really think that york hasnt played anyone... i was at the scott county game and i would say that scott county was the better team... they called scotts quarterback i believe he was number 10 for a fumble when he was clearly down inside the 10 with like 3 minutes left after the called a pick 6 that would have one the game back for a "holding" on the 2 yard line... clearly scott was the better team.. the refs took the game from em and most people would agree on that.. well except for the folks from jamestown that dont realize just how bad the refs are down there.. and which everyone around except them knows

the only thing needed to be in capital letters is God.. all this other suff dont even matter.. who sets around talkin on coacht worryin about crappin capital letters... and ur right we don't need to know how to read or anything to wipp ur alls hind ends.. which we did so very very very easily.. u all had it made it the EASY 3a region for years.. i woulda liked for ya all to come up and play with the big boys.. ur simply mad cause us country folk that still have morals and still go to church with the doors are open came over and smacked u bunch city folk around.. made ya mad that a school from nowhere with a bunch of country boys that love football and love hittin just laid it to ya... i seen in the paper that u all wasnt on the schedule this year and it made me wonder.. i almost asked one of the coaches who dropped who then i used common sense.. gettin beat 8 years in a row? or winnin 8 years in a row? yep u all dropped us...

All I have heard is how Gibbs is so good.. that just cant be true.. the only reason they was undefeated until this grace bunch beat up on them is because they wouldnt put scott county back on the schedule. guess they got tired of gettin wore out.. last year with atleast 6 turnovers and maybe more i cant remember scott county beat em 33-13.. the year before is was even worse 47-3... and scott county had won 8 in a row vs gibbs..

u may be right about the field goal. but from my angle it looked good. 10 was a good quarterback i will say that.. 34 was also a good football player. i aint takin nothin away from york. they played well and as usual played physical. it was a great football game. lookin forward to next year. but i will say this the holdin call inside the 3 and the fumble was horrible calls the cost them boys the game. im 43 years old and i could feel the hurt for them young boys. i was proud of how they played agaisnt a pretty good football team. but i felt like the men in red had more talent and was better than the men in purple. this is also coach shannons first year as head coach for the highlanders. anyhow good luck to york the rest of the season. highlanders get prepared for kingston because its usually a slugfest.
