hey bigmomma15 why would you say #5 is better than #8 or #12. The coaches know who is better. He (#8) has done a good job all year, he had a bad game verses a good D, with bad weather. I would think he was't to happy with his play either and that might be why he had an attitude. I believe in what I see and I don't think any of the QBs played well, It's just #8 was out there the longest to make more mistakes. (remember good D, bad weather) hey playtowin: just call it as I see it.. you have the code name PLAYTOWIN. I dont know this #5 kid he must be new to Eagles cause I've been around a while and all the sudden I see him running, tackling, and throwing... I think Coach definitely can make the best decision for the team if #8 is only limited to play qb then he needs to do it well in rain or shine.He just don't impress me on the field.

pray for no rain delays or ot in this game.... predict Gibbs to win 42 -14... after last weeks loss probably some changes going to be made in Eagles offense.Not sure about #8's leadership skills not impressed with his attitude when he got pulled out after a very rough 1st half.... #5 is a smooth qb (definitely better than a 3rd string qb) can be a big threat cause he has good arm & great legs to run it.. I think the Eagles will come out charged up and ready to win another game before 3rd quarter that way it doesn't go into OT.. but you have to admit you definitely get your $$$'s worth when you go to their games.

appreciate you thinking bout me... however bigmomma too old to have a kid in high school but been around football enough to know how it should be played.

I pick Gibbs to win 14-7... it will be a great game but, the qb#8 will have to share the ball with the other great players... sure his stats look great after last game but he didn't give up the ball unless it was to the other team.(harsh but true) If it rains I still pick Gibbs... going to be an exciting night!

I recently read an article were Julian was talking about Dowdy hopefully returning to play... Is KJ looking for an escape goat for this terrible season? Sure Coffman is weak as a qb but there would be no big difference if or when Dowdy returns. I think most intelligent people from Halls know what will be happening very very soon. OR 42 Halls 3

thanks SHOWVOL I was beginning to think I was the Lone Ranger.. Gibbs has talent this year and it's not cause they've played untalented teams... it may not be a widespread win but I still think Gibbs will prevail..

if the Eagles stay focused this should be another win, however it does not mean that Grace does not have the talent to make it an interesting game. let's just say it's prime time for Gibbs to have a successful year and kudos to the coaching staff and players (returning & newbees) who have stepped up and so far made this a great season. ZCAR you're optimism in the Red Devils achieving any kind of successful season is borderline pyschotic, however they may have a chance against Webb... let's just talk about how ridiculous it is that Webb brought Carroll on board after the most unsuccessful coaching career in High School history, maybe KJ can do a job interview during half time. GO WEBB! lol

Gibbs is doing great this year and one can't help but wonder if it's because the new transfers #40 from Maryville & #5 from Halls have come in full of talent and caused some of the returning players to step up their game or get replaced?? Gibbs' qb has stepped up this season and he should cause the Batts' kid can throw the ball and run it (what was coach KJ @ Halls thinking by not playing this kid?) and #40 is just an all around ball of fire, great talent. Coach Connolly has the talent for the next 2 years at least to take a team to playoffs. He just needs to not make the mistake as other coaches and let politics get in his football program... PLAY THE BEST PLAYER ... bottom line... don't let the parents decide who should start. Great job all around Eagles, I hope to come to a game soon. Best of luck against Grace Christian.

reading all the posts and Halls should be very concerned that we are losing great athletes to other schools.. look at Blakely @ AC who is doing great and Batts @ Gibbs who can qb, run the ball and play defense... and several just up and quit because of the same old playbook and politics. It's obvious that there will be some coaching staff changes after this year, it's just a shame that the players are the ones who will pay the price. O'Laughlin should have transferred this year to another school because he gets hardly any play time and as someone already stated NO SCOUT is going to come watch a LOSING team. What is KJ's plan continue losing talent to other schools? I'm sure AC & Gibbs glad to have the players they got from Halls...how many more we going to lose?
