Bradley was down had a good post player they were draining some crazy shots last two minutes of game to keep it close!We had couple girls battling stomach virus hope its a good game tonight but it will be tough no doubt!

I THINK TURNHAM HAS LOST THIS TEAM ALREADY. THE KIDS ARE TOO SCARED TO SHOOT, DEFEND OR DO WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN. ALL THEY DO IS WAIT TO GET YANKED OUT THE GAME. THEY HONESTLY HAVE ABOUT 20-30 SUBS A GAME. NO 5 PLAYER GROUPING HAS BEEN ON THE FLOOR TOGETHER FOR LONGER THAN 3-4 MINUTES. NOT EVEN THE STARTING FIVE. TAY SMITH HAD A GREAT FIRST HALF TONIGHT AND BARELY SAW THE COURT IN THE SECOND HALF. JD WHITE WAS SCARED TO SHOOT THE BALL ALL NIGHT AND KEPT LOOKING AT TURNHAM AS THEY ALL DO. THE GUARDS PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THE BENCH THAN THE COURT AND MISS WIDE OPEN CUTTERS. THIS GAME IS NOT THAT HARD. I'LL SAY THIS, BLACKMAN HAS THE TALENT TO COMPETE FOR THE DISTRICT. BUT AS TIGHT, SCARED AND CONFUSED AS THIS SQUAD IS NOW.. I DON'T SEE THEM BEATING ANYBODY. SHAMEFUL. I played for Turnham for a few years and agree w/ most of what you all are saying about him. In terms of X's and O's he is definitely one of the best coaches around. However, he absolutely does not connect with his players at all. I could've been one of the best 3-point shooters around at somewhere slightly above 50%. However, due to Turnham, that percentage was somewhere in the 30s. The fact that any bit of playing time relied upon hitting each and every shot caused too much hesitation for a natural shooter. Everytime I'd shoot the ball I'd subconsciously feel Turnham getting ready to point at a player on the bench and yank me out of the game. Don't get me wrong, Turnham is a great guy off the court and a lot of fun to be around; high school basketball would've been a much better experience and we would've been much more successful had he shown this positive attitude on the court as well. He just needs to realize that he's not coaching at the college level, our lives during high school isn't all about basketball, and that he's not going to be a great high school basketball coach until he realizes that he's not making the team any better by causing us to fear him and our mistakes. Any mistake we made, we came out of the game, this showed us that he didn't believe in us and therefore, we didn't believe in ourselves. His coaching abilities have an amazing potential, but until he realizes that we are human, we make mistakes, we aren't all the natural athletes that can always seemingly teleport to the spots we need to be in in a seconds time, and that we aren't god's gift to basketball, he won't even begin to fulfill his potential. PERIOD. I agree with some but your weak minded and a bit of a whiner in my opinion alot of the big time coaches are drill sergeant tough weeds out hte weak which seems like you are i could have been one of the best 3 point shooters lol as chris berman and the crew says"come on man"

Dont be dissapointed its normal cookeville is a pitiful sports town one of the largest schools in state no fan support or administrative support its sad!!!The neighboring counties white,la,smith all have great crowds and support why is this?The 1st round football crowd against franklin county shocked me it was like an average game wow whats wrong wit you guys and girls in cookeville?

35 freshman 110 at junior high level!

White county has great group of freshman and the numbers are up big time at the junior high give coach 2 years and the program will be respectable again got a good feeling!!!
