I can agree on the parenting part, My parents never let me quit in season, if I wanted to I had to wait until after that season ended. And you may be correct about the rest, but as the sign says in the locker room, we are not the most disciplined, the hardest working, and best conditioned team anymore, and some of that falls on the Coach. I am frustrated because the kids we do have are playing their tails off, and the coach is getting a bye from a big contingent of TC old timers. This is the 1st year that Coach has not had enough talent to win however he wants, and it has been a train wreck of a season all the around.

the kids have battled their butts of for sure, most of the losses are a combination of mistakes and being out gunned, but the mistakes fall just as much on Coach as they do on those kids.

Of course i'm a little partial but Jerry "cheese" Richmond is as good as they come and has a resume that is hard to match. 40 years play by play for Trousdale County, 493 games! Too many mistakes, sloppy play, TC has at least the 3 most athletic kids on the field, 60% of the snaps our QB is picking the ball off the ground, game changed when we decided to let a kickoff bounce inside the 10 take two steps and throw it across the field just to be tackled inside the 10, 3 plays later a safety really changed momentum

I’m not surprised, but as I mentioned it is what it is, it’s not like his dad is going to fire him, it won’t get any better for the next couple years at least, this season will sit back the program for years because kids won’t want to play and lose, heard earlier in the week that 8 more kids had already stated that they would quit if we lost this game

Say what you want but some of these things start at the top, TC has made similar mistakes since Blake has been the Coach but have always had the talent to bail him out, they don’t now. Playoff streak is over and anyone not named Satterfield would be canned if this happened, but the old timers around town will pin it on “he ain’t got no talent”, from a Trousdale County alum, I love the TC but this is a daggum joke
