  1. 1= CF 2=SB 3=WB 4=OD I think Sunbright will make a strong push for #1
  2. There was a difference in penalties. CB wasn't very disciplined and thought they could coast after jumping out to a 32-8 lead. Coalfield started very slow (players and coaches) but seemed to get in a better groove with play calling and execution as the game drug on. I really like CB's offense. I think they will win alot of games this year. Coalfield will find their groove and improve to compete for the district but the next 2 games probably won't be pretty for the JACKETS.
  3. Wartburg has had a good week of practice, they looked fast and healthy. Boyds D lookes pretty tough against the run but I think we will set up our runs by passing. I saw the Unaka vs Boyd film and saw Unaka move the ball pretty good at times. I think Wartburg will do the same they just won't turn the ball over like Unaka. Our defense is pretty solid, sometimes they tend to give up some yards but not points. It looks like Boyds O will probably line up and run straight at Wartburg and try to wear them down. I don't know how well they pass but they probably can. Special teams; The Dogs have given up some yards on kickoffs but do alright every where else. I expect Boyds to be very good. TONIGHT I'LL BE PULLING FOR THE DOGS!!! BOYD......21 WARTBURG..34 GO DOGS
  4. No Wartburg players are suspended. I heard the Coach was going to appeal his suspension but don't know if he did or if anything has changed.
  5. I saw what happened in the first half. #30 tackled one of our players close to the sideline and then started trying woller him around after the whistle and I think I saw a coach try to stop #30 then. I think I even saw the refs say something to the coach but it wasn't bad at all or there would have been a penalty or something. The difference is it didn't happen again from Wartburg but #30 and his daddy kept doing what they do. #30 and his daddy were out of control and both should have been locked up. Maybe they won't be back or maybe OS can weed them out some other way so no one else has to deal with them!!! GOOD LUCK TO OS IN THE COMING YEARS.
  6. All the teams around Coalfield alway give them their toughest games(Harriman,OS,Sunbright, and Wartburg)so if you compare schedules its hard to consider those games. I'm sure CB has opponents who play them the same way. This Coalfield team is alot diffeerent than last years team. They have better coaches, better schemes and another year of experience. I believe Coalfield makes it look easy and takes care of buisness... CB 14 Coalfield 33
  7. finally someone wants to talk about the GAME. Wartburg has alot of senior leadership, they have a very good Defense. #58 is an All State linebacker. #16 & #6 are very good corners. #2 is our safety and somehow always seems to come up with key int's. #34 & #59 are tough d-ends and the tackles are solid and disciplined. All in all I think the entire Defense is fast and tough. Wartburgs Offense seems to be on track right now. #11 is a dual threat QB a little under sized but very hard to control. #21 is the speed back that has a chance on any play. #16 is the go to reciever who just seems to make plays no matter how many you got on him. #34 gets alot of the tough catches acroos the middle. The O-line is very solid and get a good push off the ball. Special teams are sometimes shaky on kickoff coverage but I think they will have that fixed by Friday. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS... GO DOGS!!!
  8. I SAW A CLASSY BUNCH OF KIDS IN SUNBRIGHT 2 WEEKS AGO AND HOPE THEY CAN GET THE REMATCH I KNOW THEY ARE WANTING AND EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE...NOW GO AND TAKE CARE OF BUISSNESS!!! GO TIGERS!!!
  9. WALLS,LUKE,FORREST,and ADAM;;; PLAY THE GAME LIKE YOU KNOW HOW AND KEEP YOUR SEASON GOING. WE'RE PULLING FOR YOU GUYS!!! GOOD LUCK JACKETS!!!
  10. I think both teams are going to score their points and it will come down to which defense come up with that key stop or crucial turnover. Wartburg looks as fast and healthy as I've seen them in a few weeks and OZ is playing their best ball when it matters most. Its going to be a great game and will come down to the wire. I'll be pulling for the DOGS but good luck to both teams. THOR; ITS TIME TO DROP THE HAMMER!!!
  11. Hope to see a good game tonight. I think the Dogs have addressed their kickoff problems and will be ready to play. Sunbright will face a very good Wartburg Defense. I think they will throw the ball ok but don't think they will run much at all(may not have to) its going to depend on how much pressure Wartburg gets on the qb(which I think they can). I don't know much abouts Sunbright's Defense, just that when they play quality teams they give up alot of points. I think you will see more of a running game from Wartburg this week. In the end I hope the Dogs come out on top. GO DOGS
  12. For the record, my ties are to Wartburg, not Sunbright. I just wanted to give a prediction and ask people not to tie the Sunbright program to oletiger and remember the kids they put on the field every friday night. I know alot of people from Sunbright who all conduct theirselves with class.
  13. I think people want to see Sunbright loose because of oletiger, but the truth is Sunbright has a pretty good ball team. Don't let your feelings toward oletiger affect what you think about their team. I think Sunbright will show up and play ball like they have all year. Oneida 27 Sunbright 42
  14. Seems like injuries are piling up for Wartburg. They seem to have key players out every week now. This could give OZ the edge early, but I think in the end the DOGS will come out on top. WARTBURG 27 OZ 13 GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS AND STAY HEALTHY...
