Yes, Mobley is at practice and running Scout Offense and Defense. Personally, I think that it is a good sign for Powell fans because there will always be a "chance" to see him back in action later down the road since he IS practicing and still part of the teams daily routines. I dont think we see him this week though. Maybe its a situation like the movie "Coach Carter" and he is having to do extra running or something to earn his way back into action. It will come down to the coaching staff to make the decision, Lets keep our fingers crossed! My Prediction comes a day early this week. AC applies a few "new" techniques to their Offense this week and will get them 3 scores on Powell. The Panthers come back strong each time and hits AC with 5 scores. AC-21 @ Powell-36

I understand what you said, and I'm glad we understand each other. It is sad that the public will never know the exact details of what went down because if they did they say he has been punished enough because it wasn't any deal like the News Sentinel said and like the people commenting on the KNS web site were implying. I wont get into any detail on the NT, Just know he is healthy.

Not many times have I disagreed with you on things (maybe never) but I wonder about these fans that said they wanted him out for the remainder of the season (maybe I wonder if they were fans from that "uppity" clique or real fans)but I too was at the game for 3 quarters and when I told the true story to the ones I trust that wont go spreading it, they actually had a hard time believing the schools discipline vs the teams discipline, Everyone relayed that a 2 game suspension would have been an EXTREME OVERKILL. But not everyone has the correct info about this as I hope YOU do, but again you said the Nose Tackle 90 didn't play do to an injury and that just isn't correct as he has been 100% for 2 weeks and an injury was NOT the reason he didn't play. I hope Mobley does get a chance to be seen on the field sometime during the remainder of the playoffs. I actually am pretty confident we will see Mobley back because there ARE Lawyers involved in more than one aspect of Mobley's benefit and things will be sorted out soon I'm sure. Of course if he would have been playing at another school like AE he would have been playing last week. I mean no disrespect at all.

Either way the ball rolls next Friday I really hope everyone can look past the results and root for whichever team wins as they continue deeper into the playoffs... I for one will be an AC fan if they beat Powell. So lets keep this week classy and good luck to both teams! PS: My view of the game will come on Thursday!

Holy Moly, What a game! The defense was GREAT! and the Defense was missing the leading tackler End and their Noseguard, not to mention Mobley at LB. This really caught me off guard tonight. Not that I am complaining but as said above the focus Powell had was tremendous! Great Job coaches! Offense Played fairly well and Defense was lights out! Thanks MavFlight... I will tell ya I was super close to picking MoEast by 1... Theres just alot of things that Powell will have to do right to make this an easy game and I dont think they will. This was the hardest prediction to pick so far I will tell you that! Good Luck to AC btw!

Well, In your "hypothetical" situation I would want to know if the student was actually stealing a pair of shorts or borrowing them to dress out or what? Both scenarios are wrong in my opinion and its details like this that the system will find out and make their decision. Like I said, Let the system have time to work. But I do say this. Stealing is Stealing and anyone doing so should be punished. Yes I hope this young man has to pay for what ever he did, but some of these rumors are so far from the truth. If a person steals a car then send him to jail, but if a person stole a pencil does he still need jail time? I hope the young man is punished for his wrong doings, but I also hope the punishment fits the bill. I still think Powell does fine without him this week and the rest of the year. Is anyone going to start a MoEast vs Powell thread or have I over looked it? Im ready for my predication already!

Ok, Ive read enough bashing/rumors and it is getting ridiculous. I pay well to be informed of many things associated with High School Football and there are so many inaccuracies in the above posts that its pathetic. Even the post about the Senior stealing cleats is not entirely accurate, close but not the whole story. All of the posters who are saying he stole ipods and money need to check their sources. I will not let the true details out now until due process has taking place but when the truth is revealed about what actually DID happen, there will be alot of people that have made comments about this young man that will want to apologize to him. With that said, let the system do its job and quit with the he said she said stuff because they are so far from the truth and like some have said he is a minor as well. PS. A similar thing happened at Halls a few weeks ago and I bet no one know about that... go figure.

Off Topic a tad but in the right direction: You know its obvious that knox county teams will never be able to get the best coaches due to what knox county pays coaches... I have heard that this year they actually decreased every coaches pay 2-3% in knox county. Is there any truth to this? And everyone is suprised when coaches go to blount county or Private, I wouldnt be. Heck some of the coaches have already migrated down to Georgia where they actually pay coaches well... Just makes me shake my head at what KC coaches actually make even if they go all the way to state.

Well that statement shows your knowledge of the Powell Program... and that is absolutely NOTHING. You are 100% wrong. From now on anything you says can be taken with a grain of salt due to your inaccurate statements above. Hope you have a better day
