good luck to both teams. this has been a good state tourney. glad our boys from clay co. got to see and play with the best of the best. there was some great athletes playing this week from all teams. no team has anything to be down about!

well its 7:30am in clay county and bulldawg fans are already fired up.. good luck bulldawgs the town is behind you ALL THE WAY!!!!! and i think its time you guys prove some people wrong!

does anyone have scores? clay won not sure on the exact score but everyone on the team played so it was not very close. what about the other region match ups?

i think it might have been 18.. but not 100 percent sure. clay played like a pee wee team! hope they got that out of their system! they were over due to have a bad game!

this i did not understand either.. they could have fouled and then fouled again... and the game would have been over. but no one has mentioned this.... if during the boys game the toilet paper had not been thrown and cc had not made that foul shot crange would have won by one in regulation! if i was the coach in a game that BIG i would have held off on that!

in the game that was played in clay co. godwin didnt outscore him. and in the game that was played at jackson in the hearld citisen it said godwin had a career high of 26 i believe, ya boles has hit that mark alot this year.. just sayin. but the award is over and like i said people who have seen him play knows what he can do his stats show it. now he just needs the BIG 7a trophy FOR THE THIRD YEAR! LETS GO DAWGS!!!!!

boles dont care to shoot and can drain it from anywhere? can anybody guard him when he is hot?

trent drives the basket alot also. but i guess you missed those games! dont we all love how only jc and players from jc can do ANYTHING and no body else from anywhere in this region get any recongition! I LOVE IT!!!

wow midtenn we know u love jackson but boles has not faced a zone all year.including the game against jackson i recall them tryin at least three different defenders tryin to guard him they couldnt even godwin couldnt stay in front of him he wasnt shootin 3s that game he was driving the whole game and scoring godwin was the one that had to step back for 3s cause he couldnt score.every shot boles shot against jc and crange was contested and he dominated both games.8 3s against clarkrange 4 of them come while he was faceguarded.so please tell me again he only scores on zones.

totally agree would love to compare stats. boles might not have the blocked shots. but whats what shots really? he is just glad to have somethin to toot his horn about again. like i said everybody knows who the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER is. he wears the 24 BLACK AND GOLD

everyone knows who the real mvp is of the district 7a. he dont have to have the trophy to show it and everyone knows midtn. would be back after "GODWIN" got mvp. trent boles showed what he had last night and everyone either saw it or heard it on the radio. congrats to jordan he is a good kid though. if anything there should have shared co mvp but trent boles should have alsoc ome out on top. does anyone know who coach of the year was?

Trent Boles from Clay CO. single A according to the Tennessean was the leading scorer in the Uppercumberland and was currently 3rd in assist. last years mvp of the district also as someone had already mentioned.

little steep on the score jc is good but i dunno about 18 points and if clay plays like they can or how they played against rbs clay will win.clay has a chip on there shoulder after losing to a team there 30 points better than pickett county but this one in jc should be good.

u guys are so crazy yea im sure celina fans was saying racist remarks considering they have a black boy on there team and there was 5 or 6 black boys in there cheering section.rbs was in the wrong.i mean u know there in the wrong when after the game rbs coach come to clays locker room and told clay boys sorry.i mean seriously everytime somethin comes up with black and white its always he is being racist not this time just some dirty trash talkin by white and blacks in clay student section...now lets go celebrate martin luther king jr day...

it was number 11 and 12 from rbs. kirk and washington. clay won by 25 came ready to play and their student section was painted up black and gold and fired up. got into those rbs players head, the kids from rbs should have been camlmed down before it got to that point. im not sure what was said by the cchs student section but they were never made sit down by the refs so it must have not been anything terrible... as soon as the buzzer sounded those boys walked through the hand shanking line and then charger the crowd. no dount it was a all out brawl! but none of clay countys players were involved they all went straight to the dressing room. it had nothing to do with any of the players from cchs! i have to say it was a wild night in celina!

its hard to beat a team 3 times. but i believe that clay will come ready to play. good luck to the bulldawgs!
