He will be missed by me and few others. A great man that will be greatly missed. I got a feeling we'll see him again though....or at least I hope so. Yeah.

OK, just wanted to make sure you guys didn't miss out on anything. over the past four or five years In which I have been gazing into the pages of CoachT I do not remember such a buzz around Giles Co football, this is a great thing for our program and our school, sometimes we get a little off track but that is ok as long as we use the dull end of the knife. On one of his post, I thought he asked them "please don't ban me again". It reminds me of the pro football reciever who held up the sign "dear nfl, please don't fine me again"..... The Iron sure is funny.

Mike, well, looks like they took your buddy and put him back in the recycling bin. I thought I remembered him having more post on this particular thread and he hasn't wrote this morning. I must admit that from what I read, I thoght he was quite humorous.

It is Bobcat.... You've got two or three people on here posting as five or six trying to inflate the QB from G.C. The problem is that this is a small time blog and they are not smart/rich enough to go to websites that really matter..... I'm just bringing balance to the equation. Well, I think he is a good ball player. It seems that he has been one for a while now and not just in football. Why do so many disaprove of his family? I can read and tell that you don't care much for them but there is always talk in town whenever the subject of Giles County football comes up. I think it would be a large positive if he goes on to play college and at a large school or a good program. We should be wishing them good luck for tomorrow.

I agree with the percentage.... I remember years ago watching a special on T.V. hosted by Greg Gumbell (spelling) and he stated the percentages of kids playing H.S. that go onto the NFL and the percentage of kids in College who also go onto play in the NFL.

What has B.J. said about the game? Any insights?

I've got to hand it to my friend Mike on this one.. From where I am sitting, none of the three schools really have much to talk about right now. L.C. is down but even at its best, they are like the Alabama teams of the past. They may play only one good team a year and win. When they play the next good team, they get stopped in the playoffs. Richland, that's just a Vanderbuilt right there. As for spring hill, they're a South Carolina. They've got some of the pieces but they'll never be what they were in the 70's and 80's......

Mike, you may know. With all that has been said about the little Wallace boy, was he the same kid that did so well in the Pop Warner league? Best I can remember, several years ago they traveled in some kind of tournament out of state. Was that the kid whose father was the coach?

Isn't there another Wallace kid in school up there at Richland?

I was going to ask how he got the position but then I looked at WKSR's website and it says he's the station's manager. I guess that's how he was appointed. You know, I like Chunn because he's a football guy and he does a pretty good job of telling it like it is. Also, he does his best to keep up with the stats.

Which division are you curious about? Our division 3A/4A.
