Not to be too nit-picky, but it is actually the KJB or AV1611. The "B" was changed to "V" when the others came on the scene.

UC is definitely not a one player team. We did have six key players out. There was a new face at qb, at slot, at center, at RG, and at RT last night. Defense had a different assortment at LB. One senior on offense and two on defense. Barring injury and attrition, UC should be solid next year in 2A.

We did ok with new qb and being down to one senior on offense and two on defense. The new line arrangement will now get a couple of weeks to work together.

Bumpus was not back at slot where his hands could be one the ball. The option was not there because the pitches went behind the back. When the pitch was in front, the back got his yards.

Very close to a 2013 McKenzie Deja vu. Although Dresden has a better team than they did.

Lions have big butterflies.

We lost our 3rd string QB also, who also is the placeholder for field goal kicks. He was also getting playing time in the secondary because our starting qb/safety is out for the season. Losing our slot/lb hurts a little also. Hard to replace a player who was getting an offer from U of Louisville. Losing a starting senior ot/de is also painful. Down to about three seniors and they aren't chugging at 100%. Juniors and sophomores have been stepping up.

UC is the only team that had a chance of beating NCS last year.

NCS will be missed by UC. Maybe we can pick up TCA next year.

It will come down to the defenses. That's where the injuries have hurt us the most. The Lions have not been as productive as us on offense.

Peabody and Humboldt aren't feeling the love.

Hopefully it won't be lights out by 3rd quarter. I don't see how they will stop us from scoring whether we have the A team or B team in the game. We'll probably want the ball first in that game.

UC had starting qb/DB out. Slot/lb went out with knee injury. One DB didn't start for some reason. Also Some sickness going around team this week. UC still has some work to do on defense. Offense will be hard for anyone to stop. Refs weren't great for either team tonight.

North Charleston

If Peabody could've fixed their holding calls and turnovers, it would've been a tight game. Peabody's offensive line handled us alright. Peabody never punted. On the flip side, neither their 4-4 nor their 5-3 defense was very effective against us. Our qb kicked in the after burners.

No one said it was just one kid. One did happen to be worse than the others, though. The coaches weren't there because they were told to leave.

University of Louisville has made an offer to our rb/lb because he is slow. We are hallucinating when we see our qb outrun opposing defenses. UC will be playing on December 2. Mark it on your index card. PS: We've also got some size this year.

Haywood County was much better than expected. We were a lot flatter than expected. They ran a 4-4 defense that gave us a hard time driving the ball. A couple of our backs seemed to have a hard time cutting on the field. Our defense, the line and d backs, stayed totally out of position all evening. We've got ten games to straighten it out.

Starting kicker is a senior who's had a strong leg since middle school. He was injured last week so I think a young soccer player has now stepped up for duty. I haven't heard how severe the injury is.
