  1. Al Gore doesn't even like to call Smith County home. And I guess he totally dominated Bush in that election too. Seems like all you SC folks have the same mentality. Oh well, wait another 4 years and maybe you'll be back in the playoffs.
  2. I believe York will need some major help from their war hero (no disrespect). I do hope this is not a trap game. If York finds a way to score a couple TD's early, it could be tough. I don't look for Alvin to show up and that is about the only real chance they got, but I guess it has happened before. Does anybody think that York will bring many to the game? It would be kindof embarrassing if the visitor stands aren't full.
  3. Don't like what I'm hearing about the Milan O-line getting pushed around by Camden. Won't be long before that catches up with you.
  4. If you bleed purple, you should try writing purple also. Use a period. I talk when I read and the periods let me take a breath. Dude, I almost pass out on your stuff. I kindof get a kick out of dawg44 and swingjuice. BTW, when is swingjuice going to finish his top ten (still want to see some pork rines and tobassco sause). Sometimes they are over the top but at least it mixes it up some and it is usually worth the read. But what do I know, I am just a troll. I just hope everybody realizes that there are probably some military guys and other people far away from the game that read this stuff to get their fix. It is our responsibility to our country to hook them up with the latest info.
  5. These two are good, not the best two IMHO. They both are probably in top 20. District 3a is great this year. No doubt the best in 3a. Time will tell if CAK and Loudon can keep it up. I would bet that CAK is going to be good for years to come as long as they stay don't go Division II. IMO, Loudon will be up and down like many other schools.
  6. Even from a distance, it is hard to believe how loaded that district is. I guess it makes for some great games along the way. This half of the bracket is much tougher than the other side.
  7. let me get this right. it is "da" "eff us". wow. you said it not me. Don't worry dude, come tomorrow night you are effed. dew fuss.
  8. Best game in 3A this week. I don't think anybody knows what is coming. How about 21-21 at the end of regulation. That would suit this game quiet well. It is going to come down to turnovers and special teams.
  9. Don't look like anybody thinks Loudon has a shot at this one. That makes me wish Polk would have won last weeks game. At least they would believe they could win. Loudon has a tough team with a lot of heart, but Alcoa is more than two hand fulls. Loudon keeps it close in the first quarter, say 7-7 at end of 1st quarter. However 21-7 at half. 42-14 at the end. Hope it is a better game than this. Loudon surprised Polk, do they got another one in them.
  10. Nobody has really been talking about that much over the past couple of days. Only when there were only dawg fans posting with no Camden rebutle. Now it is all about Friday night, menthal cigarettes, and catfish. How do you pronounce your username? Is it " dew fuss" per chance? Just wondered.
  11. 2 days til Friday night,3 days to rifle season, unfiltered cigs (do they make those in menthals?)...All I can say is, it is time to "smokem if you gotem". Hey swing, can you say something about pork rines and tobassco sauce in your top ten. They go great with menthals at least that is what my "lady" says. Now that is classy. If Camden wins, will next weeks game be in Camden? If you have to check, then your not expecting a win. I hope it is a great game, I have pulled for both teams all year with the hopes that you would face each other in the playoffs. No doubt that the kids will remember this game for a long, long time. Good luck to the kids, coaches, families, and friends on a safe game. I say it is a close first half, 14-7 Milan at half. 28-7 at the end. I think Milan will be able to take advantage of Gaskin being out of the secondary and make some big plays but will have problems with the ground game until late in the game.
  12. I'm really not wanting to talk crap either so it really does not have anything to do with class. Actually it takes a little class to get on here and keep the posts somewhat objective. I would really like somebody that knows the team to talk about Camden's game, key matchups, strengths/weaknesses, highlights, injuries, and what it is going to take to win. I'm not much on cheerleading and "go team" post guy. I do state it the way I see it. I really thought Camden would give Milan all they wanted or maybe win until I heard about your qb. That's unfortunate. However your boys aren't going to roll over and forfeit. So how do they win this game.
  13. I would like to see somebody from Camden get on here and talk up there team. A little bit more than "go team" is required. Seems like all you want to do is get on here and complain about the dawgs talking amongst themselves. I guess Saturday is opening day of deer season an all, but surely you guys aren't ready to pack it in.
  14. To be honest, I was quiet concerned at the beginning of the year, even with the injuries, that Milan wasn't easily handling the good teams they faced. I know there were some injuries and illnesses, but I was really surprised to see what Huntington's offense did against that stout Milan defense even though I know Holder was for real. However, over the past several weeks, the defense has been incredible. I just hope they keep rolling. Getting CC back should only help! I've heard Camden is the real deal at the LOS and Milan will really have there hands full winning in the trenches.
  15. BC, Have you guys been able to rest your starters over the last few weeks. You have had a very tough schedule. Any injuries?
  16. Since I got your attention, what is the scoop on Coleman. I truly hope that he is able to get back in playing shape in a hurry to open some doors and turn some heads. However I would hate to see something hurt him long term. Also how good is the Milan qb. I know it is his first year to start. Is he as good as J. Coleman? how is he different? btw, Milan's board has been pretty lame this year with little participation. Looking around on other boards and there seems to be much more excitement for teams that are no where near as good as Milan. Hope the crowds haven't slacked for the games. Your team is deserving of the best support in the state as you are truly a winning "program" Camden, how many yards/game do you guys average. Do you have one feature back or do you run by committee? How good is your defense? With Milan facing some week opponents over the past couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see how they react to some tough situations by a good defense. Is the Gaskin qb a senior? Your program has really come a long way over the past few years and you should be very proud.
  17. Nice point. The east has some really good teams in 3A this season. It is a real tough road for whoever comes out of the east bracket. Seems like there were more teams with less potential out west. But looking at the remaining brackets, everybody is for real. If Alcoa does get their next gold ball, it will be because they were able to beat some very good teams. Just makes you wonder if they are getting beat up and losing their legs. I really think 3A is better the 4A by a long shot. Good luck to both teams on this game. You both have a lot to be proud of.
  18. Wow, you must have been around this stuff for awhile especially with the ae and sc picks.
  19. if you are referring to me, you should first read my posts and then think a little bit before you talk. I am about the only person in the state (outside of Milan) giving the dawgs a chance this year and I have seen the other team play some. So, here is your "swift" pat, if you were indeed refering to me. Still would like to know what changed with Coleman. I would be surprised if he plays much this week if he is just coming back to practice this week. Does Camden have much in the running game? How is their defense playing.
  20. Problem with Alcoa is that they are good. Most everywhere. They are exceptional at the LOS on both sides of the ball. The problem comes in that they know they are good and that gets them playing undisciplined ball from time to time and getting stupid penalties. Looks like there are a few key positions that they are simply average at with the most glaring being CB (small and slow). With all that depth, it is quiet mind boggling to see them play so many players both ways. The qb is on the field almost all the time and that could end up costing you big time. I may be wrong but there are some weaknesses there. Question is can anyone exploit them. Sorry to put this in this thread, but I'm not big on trolls coming into threads to talk smack about a beat down that is very far in the future. True or not, not real classy. Truth is, Milan can play with Alcoa because this is a special team especially if Coleman is healthy. Of coarse, they have their weaknesses. But next up is Camden.
  21. Any chance Alcoa loses this one? Looks like they may be practically unstoppable.
