  1. I'm ready to go back to Trinity and see how far the district can go!!!! Should be some good matchups!!
  2. I have to agree with tigerfanatic. Sounds like there are some issues that need to be addressed with the school. There again class is a very important part of sports. It doesn't matter how much passion your team or fans have. It's how you conduct yourself while participating, whether it's being a player or a fan. So far, I haven't been impressed.
  3. scotts hill fans love their players and show passion for them. maybe they dont show it like other teams but when you just won back to back district championships for the first time ever, and on top of that they werent done celebrating from the girls victory, whats wrong with it? send us the clean up bill tca, it was well worth it I agree it was a very exciting game and came down to the wire. I have to agree with Fan about the incident of dumping water on the coach. That is something you do on the football field, not a basketball court. Not to mention the damage it could cause to the floor if it's not completely cleaned up. There is nothing wrong with cheering for your team but Scotts Hill fans are as rude as they come. I also watched their coach in timeouts with the team and he was screaming at those boys and at one point was in Garrett's face about something he did. If I was his parent, I wouldn't have appreciated that at all and wouldn't want my child playing for somebody so crass. He was at stroke level several times. Enjoy this moment because your "easy" ride is coming to an end. Your friends in stripes won't be able to help you out in Regions. There will be that one team that comes along and puts you in your place....and shows a little more class.
  4. Adamsville won. It was by a big margin but don't remember the final score.
  5. It is admirable that Scotts Hill fans and parents are as passionate about their team as Adamsville. However, discussing the last game played at Scotts Hill, emotions were high and alot of bad calls were made. I did observe a play where Adamsville was going for the ball and their player ran out of bounds and into the stands. This was not on purpose but his momentum carried him into the bleachers. I saw an ADULT man push that player into the wall!!! How childish was that!!!! On top of that, the referees didn't eject that man, just had the county cop "speak" to him. Fans can yell all they want but for an adult to treat a player that way is totally uncalled for. I'm sure if the tables were turned, you wouldn't like it either. I'm just sayin......
  6. LOL, I sure bet those 10 boxes of tissues came in handy afterwards. They'll have to double the clean-up crews pay tomorrow for all that's left in the stands........... Now for the incident, I'm resting the issue, unless I'm called out..... It IS time to rest the issue. Everyone has made their point. GAME OVER The Cardinals extended their season this year and that's a great accomplishment!!! The Rebels executed well and proved that they deserve their place in the playoffs. Best of luck to you next week!!!
  7. You are right, no one will be able to predict how this will end. But you have your opinion and I have mine. You also better believe that we are as hungry for another trip to the Blue Cross Bowl too. But I have a question, why is this thing about trophys coming into this game. I don't think any rebel fan has mentioned anything about trophies. Until we can get the gold ball I don't imagine anyone of us will mention our trophy case. The only thing that I will mention is Adamsville is in the way of putting that gold piece we are missing in that case. Come Friday, we look to take that next step in getting that missing piece and continuing on. Well, you mentioned holding the gold ball first....anyway it's not about how many trophies you have, how many times you made the final trip, or if you think that Adamsville is playing over their head. This team ain't playin over their head, they have played with heart and determination all season....and come Friday night they will play every play like it was their last!!!! And they will shake your hand and congratulate you on a good game!!!!
  8. There sure is alot of talk from the McKenzie faithful about how they're gonna dominate this game. No one can predict what will happen. But it will play out on the field. Turnovers and consistency will be key factors. It will be a hard fought game from beginning to end. Yes, ya'll might have alot of trophies in your case but this is a new year!!! And the Cardinals are hungry for a trophy of their own. Our band already has the Governor's Cup for the State Championship...adding a gold ball to the collection would just be sweet!!!!!!!
  9. Soooo.....I agree with you volfan. Adamsville's defense is strong and thrives on hitting. Humboldt's 2 good athletes can't do everything so it may be pretty tough on Humboldt. Besides, they can't score if they don't have the ball. Good luck to both teams but I think the Cardinals will have the advantage. Look forward to an exciting game!!!!!
  10. utfan2....I don't know that Fearless can predict the outcome. You're right, everybody is gonna pull for their team. But we will all know at the end of the 4th quarter. It looks like it might be a wet game so everybody come prepared. Cardinals play well in the mud!!!! Go CARDS!!!!!
  11. utfan2....how can Greg Martin be your uncle????? Last I checked, Greg is an only child!!! Besides, why would you want to bring up basketball??? This is football season....and Red Rage is ready to go 8-0!!!! Oh by the way....it's "ya'll, not yaw!!!
