Kelly14 isn't this a judgement call and the officials did not deem this excessive at the time of the play? I've seen plays like this happen before and have never saw a flag thrown and have for sure have never seen anyone ejected. You must be a ref on a power trip!

The play in question was just good hard football. I was on the field right where the tackle was made and the kid from Kingston was still trying to run when Young slammed him. The whistle had not blown and it was all part of the play. football is not and I repeat not a contact sport it is a collision sport and just because young made him collision the ground doesn't make it unsportsmanlike or a dirty play. What was dirty were the next few plays where youngs knees were attacked!! BVD too funny!!!

So what do you suggest we do about scheduling? When we can't get anyone to play us because larger schools don't want to play us and if I'm not mistaken the TSSAA puts us in our district we can only play the schedule that we are given. This is an old argument but until teams step up and play us I guess you will just be bored.

I agree choo choo the o-line is the biggest difference this year. The second biggest difference is they don't have a #57 on their team! Silver bullets all night long!!

Ok its officially gville week time to tcb! BVD ill have my score prognostication later in the week but I will tell you this I've been up all night watching game film and I feel really good bout our chances.

Turtle it appears we are doing something well, considering 25 state championships have come from Blount county!!!!!! How many does Knox county have?!!!

Middle school will kick the day off at 2:00 vs. Webb. Maryville and Cleveland will play at 5:00 and Alcoa and Webb will follow. Games will be played at Alcoa.
