Nobody wants OR football to succeed more than JG, so I couldn’t see him doing anything to keep that from happening. Maybe there aren’t any positions available? Those positions are at a premium, you know. And if all this is true that you’re saying (IF) it pretty much speaks for Coach Rang’s track record in his career. He’s gone from place to place, so it wouldn’t really surprise me if it is true, to be honest. I mean, he has zero ties to OR. I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now though.

Yeah, pretty wild. But life goes on. The older I get, the less important this stuff is to me.

So what’s that tell ya, if true? OR isn’t exactly the easiest place to attract talent to in today’s high school recruiting environment. We are at a total disadvantage, as far as that goes. Tried to tell you this before.

Did you see what we were working with @ QB back in those days? I probably would’ve gone to the option too. The cupboard was bare to the bone, except that one year Johnny Stewart started at QB. Actually, I probably would’ve put Tee at QB so the ball would’ve been in his hands at ALL times.
