Oakland will play several Sophomores this season and it was good to see them hold their own out there today. Cant wait til August!

It was a different guy this past season. Their are a couple of up and coming sophomores that I know will contribute heavily and a couple that have a pretty good shot at earning a spot this spring. IMO

To my understanding, the popularity of this bowl is spreading and they are trying to get more that just East Tn involved. The same with Ky. They invited players from the Fort Campbell area this year.

Just got word that the Lady Pats pulled out a one point victory over Ravenwood.

[ PLEASE GET STARTED!!!!!!!!!! so did oakland pass to much? how did franklin score? personally, i think oakland's problem is bigger than offensive scheme's! Oakland passed about 90%....so did the rebels...but when over half of your offense is on the sidelines, you go into the game handicap

Not really...alot of factors played into this loss that had nothing to do with Franklin.

Mathers would get my vote but comparing these two is like apples and oranges to me. True they are both RB's, but Bryson does so much more for his team.

My son and I was just discussing this. Bryson is more versatile as a player but I would vote Mathers also. Mathers also seems to be a very humble kid.

I do not recall any rushing at all after Mayberry got hurt. Christian went to another level at that point. Shout out to Locklayer and Veals....hands for days!!!

This game was definitely everything I thought it would be. Great game!! Both teams played hard until the end. Hope the QB Wilson is OK.
