  1. Those are all fair points and CH very well could be on of those guys. But those type of guys are the exception, not the rule. IMO, there a numerous examples of guys, Patton Robinnette for example, that had better physical tools and equally good mental aptitude. These guys just didn't get the opportunity to play in a system like CH.
  2. Don't over think this guys. I don't claim to be more knowledgeable than any of these big time college recruiters and, with all due respect, I would venture to say that most of my fellow CoachTers aren't either. If CH was a big time college player he would have a big time offer. And that in no way is a knock on the kid, but the facts are the facts. His incredible high school stat line is just that, a high school stat line.
  3. I have now asked Blitzinbuc no less than 3 times about his sources for his Polk vs. Central pick, still no response. Troll on Blitzinbuc, troll on.
  4. Blitzinbuc is just trolling as usual. He has no true allegiance other than whoever is playing Polk or Bradley. He is, however, a football god and a grammatical wizard of the highest order (ask him, he will tell you). BTW Blitzinbuc, did your referree friends ever offer up an explanation for convincing you that Central was 2 TD's better than Polk? Alcoa names the score.
  5. Probably the responsibility of the SID.
  6. Agreed Charger Fan. Equally as accurate.
  7. Not a good match up for the Wildcats. If Tyner plays well, they should win comfortably.
  8. Gerry, Is there any scenario in which teams as far east Tyner or Polk Co. could be pushed to Quad 3?
  9. Question for you informed Pirate fans. How's the passing game been this year now that you all have gone back to a Wing-T look? Polk's defense has been stingy against one dimensional teams but has struggled against teams with good balance (i.e. Bradley, Signal, Sequoyah).
  10. My two cents. Polk's QB's health is far more important than most think. Someone has to loosen it up outside. SP is much better coached than the Chefs. If no other threat is available, Polk will not move the ball effectively.
  11. I am blown away at how little this thread has spoken of the game at hand. Polk and SP was once quite the game. I suppose the bickering between the Valley fans is just as amusing. Carry on.
  12. Coach McGuire made a great move already in hiring Scott Hall. Coach Hall was the biggest reason for Belmont's recent success and is as hard a worker as anyone in the game.
