No one picked Huntingdon to beat Summertown except GC Pioneer and I wouldn't expect anyone to pick the Fillies Wednesday night. Believe me that's exactly how Wilkins and Co like it. Everyone has had Greenfield and Loretto in the state championship game since last season. Guess we will see what happens the rest of the way

Who would Loretto/Huntingdon face substate? I am aware that Loretto is the favorite and if they win would host and Huntingdon would travel. Who are the other 2 teams in the other region? Its typically Houston Co or someone over that direction

2 differences in this years Fillies team David Wilkins has done an amazing job coaching these girls. They get up every day early before school and get their shots in. 3s were big for the Fillies tonight Brooklyn Williams transfer from Clarksburg was the difference maker tonight. Her defense was awesome to watch. Swenson is a big time player and has carried the Fillies all year. She was gassed at the end but fought all game Reed and older Fuller need to step up and play like seniors Butler hit some big shots tonight Posteweit needs to step her game up Turnovers continue to plague the Fillies They are not on the level of Greenfield or Loretto but are good enough to make in to the glass house. Have to replace some very key pieces QB C BOTH GUARDS 1 TACKLE BOTH TE BOTH WINGS and FB on Offense 3 D lineman 2 outside and 1 middle linebacker and a safety on defense. Huntingdon may turn into Lake Co and go for 2 all year. Lose their kicker

I was glad to see refs let them play. I read where fouls were basically equal. Greenfield played much more aggressively on D and that's why they won. Little Darby was the reason Greenfield won. Weathers is the real deal despite her daddy. This was the Single A state championship. They will rematch in a couple months

Greenfield is loaded and the favorite to win it all. Weathers/Moore should be a great match up. I'm sure little Darby will have some defensive duties on her as well. Can Loretto hang with Greenfield?

Just left practice at Huntingdon. 100+ cars in a caravan around the field Several hundred hung around to watch practice. Lake Co you have no idea what you are up against! You better be ready to fight! GO MUSTANGS!

Been a long time since Mustangs had practice on Thanksgiving morning. Boys are focused and ready. Inviting all Mustang fans Lake Co fans and everyone in between for a tailgate supper starting at 5 by the baseball field. One of the best cooks in town will have the big grill fired up. Tenderloin chicken and BBQ bologna sandwiches you bring a side and your own drinks. All donations will go to Ella Cary a 12 year old girl with Leukemia from Clarksburg.

Watching Greenfield play it seems like Darby and Moore dont like each other. Body language tells alot. When one is spotted up wide open for a 3 and the other looks at her then decides to drive to the goal and shoot herself that tells alot. Winning takes care of all of that but sure looks like some resentment from one of the girls
