Well, boys, hopefully we can see page 2 or 3 of the playbook this weekend....
The O-line was taxed pretty hard trying to play 5 on 8 and running the ball. #1 made some good reads to get positive yardage, other than that....one big play. Punted more last week that they did the whole season.
The passing game was hamstrung with only one receiver going deep on a fly route and the line still playing 5 on 8 because there was not a single intermediate pass thrown except for the hook and lateral play that was a success.
If you can trust your QB to throw that hitch route for a hook and lateral, which is a much tougher throw, then you can trust him to toss a simple pop behind the linebacker.
We know it is there. we have seen it before.
