  1. That's awesome numbers she's a baller. What grade is she? Does she have any prospects at the next level?.#10 for Unaka hit 85 three's this year but had a rough couple of games in the tourney.
  2. Same could be said for Unaka too they missed many looks that normally fall. Not saying Summertown is a bad team they are very good and well coached. It's just chaps me that people say Unaka has no business there and I think they prove many critics wrong if the Rangers had played yesterday to their capabilities it could have been different..#34 scared me to death after watching her against Dresden she can flat out shoot from anywhere and they kept her in check for the most part..Good luck to Summertown and hope they win the gold ball today..
  3. 17 TURNOVERS 11 UNFORCED AND DOWN BY 8 WITH MINUTE AND HALF LEFT. I WASNT TOO IMPRESSED.
  4. Very true can’t afford to play sloppy or get in foul trouble. Will need a complete effort from here on out
  5. Many teams are blessed with talent year in and year out. You see most repeat time after time at the glass house and that's great. On the other hand you have teams that unfortunately is not in that same scenario that have to work their butts off to get there. Each 8 teams deserve to be where they are due to high level of talent and hard work. I did watch Unaka the other night they have talent maybe not as much as the west teams but I witnessed a group that came together and played their guts out I seen one girl get crushed by two players and came back in to finish the game limping and I witness another one sliding for a loose ball and ending up hitting the door frame and landing in the hall way so yes maybe the west has more talent but I guarantee you these eastern teams won't go out without a fight.
  6. True and this may not mean a thing but I really think Unaka has been challenged more, Tellico's schedule is very weak.
  7. Unaka has won the last two by the skin of their teeth, playing at home will be a big help and they do play well there. on any given night they can shoot lights out put 80 up any many real good teams, but I agree it's going to be an uphill climb.
  8. I watched both games last night and if they had played last night landers would win, I was very impressed with their defense and only holding North Greene to 29 points. On the other hand the Rangers were very fortunate to win, there bread and butter is from outside and I think they hit one three, but got some key rebounds down the stretch. Very proud of both teams and standing stout through this tournament.
  9. Looks like the game has been moved to Daniel Boone..
  10. Carter County represented well in regionals. Can the lady landers win three against the lady landers. This will go down to the wire IMO. Just hope it's moved closer to bring out a bigger crowd..
  11. Going to be interesting year again. Who will step out and be a leader for the Dogs is the question, they have some good looking young talent and will be competitive just not sure if they got the horses in the stable YET to be top dawg this year but it's a coming.
  12. I was thinking the same way king, I watched this one and Unaka, went 5 for 13 from foul line and shot around 30 percent from the field..i'm surprised they didn't get beat by 20 or more. it was an ugly outing to say the least, but it had a lot to do with Hampton too ,playing discipline D and smart and I wouldn't expect anything other wise from the Dogs in big games.
  13. I agree Duke I've watched most teams in region play thus far, I see Unaka being at top at this point. they have about four girls that can shoot well from outside then a couple pretty good post players, if they are shooting well they can beat anyone in conference by double digits if they are off then they can lose to anyone by double digits and then cloudland is a close second imo..Hampton is not deep at all, they can play very well for a quarter or two then they go downhill quickly the only one I haven't seen is NG yet but they will be hard to beat especially on the road, will be a very exciting year with some very good competition.
  14. True horn but if HV only score ‘s 28 on south Greene, points will be hard to come by against TL’s defense..
  15. I have seen Hampton at times this year in the power I and run it to perfection against teams at or above the quality of Rockwood. It will take that effort this week every down to be successful, if they can do this I like their chances.
  16. If HV has the same outing they did against SG then Oneida will keep it very close and could possibly catch HV sleeping..SG is not very good. Meigs will destroy SG..
  17. The O line has to create those lanes this week, if they don't then it will be a long night I'm afraid.
  18. I think the road just got tougher for them they have played a tough schedule second half of the year. HV must not take the Injuns lightly this could be closer than most think..
  19. Nobody isn't counting them out at all they always seem to peak at the right time and they are playing well as of late.
  20. I think Hampton gets by Rockwood for another matchup with SN. What you think Gunner?
