Agreed. As for WV: Few had the secondary to stay with Westviews receivers, we weren't one of the few. QB was good but receivers were dang good and a couple of us knew that going in. We had to play perfect to control the clock and have a shot. Failed to do so.

If we had stayed healthy, Hampton 2015 would have been the most complete and better all around IMO, for what that's worth. Let's agree that each of the past greats excelled in areas others didnt. Hard to really pick out one. Era's mean a lot

Like I said in the other thread, if we are as much improved in speed this year as I read, we should hang just fine. They're a 75% pass team and our DB's should be able stay with their receivers and make the D plays as needed...and our receivers should be able to break away a few times & that should open up Levi for some big gains. Not drunk but this team should be able to stay with GP...Lot's of "shoulds" in this post isn't there?

I hear about the much improved speed of Hampton's DB's vs last year...If that's the case, they should be able to stick the GP receivers and stay with them. Wish we'd had that speed last year at state! I still say we should be able to pull this one out
