  1. Why do you have to put down Donahue. Yea both times against Greeneville he had bad games, that doesn't take away from the year he has had. I mean he still averages about 25, with 3 or 4 games over 30 points in the playoffs. So I dont see how you can say he is a bad player. But I guess Norton_65 and River271 averaged about 40 points when they played, if they ever did. Besides there is no reason to even talk about the games that SG played against Greeneville. That was distant past. It is tournament time now. Nobody cares about what happening during the regular season anymore. I would like to thank devilfan 11 for his support for the Rebels. By the way, I know there are colleges that are looking at Donahue.
  2. Seriously people lets stop talking about the South Greene and North Greene stuff and look to more important things. It's playoff time and everybody knows the bar has been raised. Every team is going to have to bring it. There is no room for mistakes. I haven't seen CAK play but I have heard they have a great passing game. I do know that Rebels seem to get a lot of pressure on the quarterback and do have a good secondary. The Rebels also know how to put points on the board. Does anybody know anything about CAK's defense. I mean Laws and Scaggs are two solid hard-nosed runners. I mean if they can wear CAK down it could be a big win for the Rebels.
  3. Hey Turtle. How is is that South Greene has played nine other games and you are the only one on here that is talking about them being cheaters. Honestly, you got outplayed. Take it like a man. By the way the last time I checked football was a contact sport, if your players cant take the heat then they dont need to step on the field. Every year when you guys play South Greene you get about 3-4 people hurt. Maybe you guys just aren't used to that smash mouth type of football that the Rebels like to play.
  4. South Greene Bryan Wright - LB, Jordan Laws - FB, Marc Wright - DB/KR
  5. Now that SG has a solid quarterback, who didn't start against yall, I think it would be another close game if SG was to play CG again. I will commend CG however they are playing good. But everybody has to admit that Rebel defense is amazing.
  6. The Cumberland Gap game I saw was against South Greene.
  7. Happy Valley will win this one I think. They knocked off the pre-season number 1 in Gatlinburg Pittman and I dont think the Warriors will slip and let Cumberland Gap beat them. Caldwell is a great quarterback and he has some pretty solid receivers to throw to and if I am not mistaken they still have a couple good running backs this year. Their defense is solid from what I hear. I have seen Cumberland Gap play this year and they really didn't impress me. Yea they looked good, but not District Championship good. I am not a fan of either team so I am not cheering for one or the other. I just feel Happy Valley is too powerful for the Panthers. Good luck to both teams. Just curious how many of the 54 passes were completed and to which receivers?
  8. Nghuskies87, I graduated but I used to play for South Greene. Don't even ask my name because I wont tell, but I guarntee you have heard it before.
  9. How can you say Havers is not better than Neal. He is ten times better, believe me I have played against both of them. I would take Greenway- the freshman at Greeneville, and Cordwell- who finally got the starting job and played a solid game for South Greene against Rutledge, over Neal any day. Just look at Neal's numbers over the past years. The guy has about three times as many interceptions than touchdowns. So until you start bragging about the guy have some stats to back it up.
  10. Neal one of the best quarterback's in east tennesse, give me a break. He is not even the best quarterback in Greene County.
  11. I am from Greene County and come on honestly North Greene doesn't stand a chance. I haven't seen them play this year, but I know they lost some of their best players from last year to graduation. The Lynch boys are ok, but Neal and Ward seriously. Neal cant stay healthy for a year so how can anyone say he is good and the Ward kid was what the third leading receiver or something last year. Oh yea I wouldn't say NG's defense is great either. Just buckle up Huskies because your free ride is over. Get ready to start facing some quality teams and then if you have success you can run your mouth. I have Cloudland by at least 21.
  12. South Greene beat Cumberland Gap 1-0 today.
  13. I heard that your number 1 doubles team (Allen and Shelton) got beat by West Greene. Is that true.
