Congrats to all three finalist! This is a big honor!Personally my vote is for Tucker from Perry Co. Kids numbers are off the charts! Not only has he excelled on the field, i have also heard that he is also a very good student! I know Mr. Football is not about academics is not part of it, but it plays a big part when it comes time to look at pursuing further with his education and athletics and colleges will look at it! I was very fortunate to get to meet this kid a couple of years back and everytime i talk with him he is always a very humble kid not wanting all the hype everyone give him but acknowledging it as a team sport! His numbers are outrageous for a kid at his age. Over 2400 passing yards and over a 1000 rushing yards in one season is something to be proud of. I know his family and friends are very proud of his accomplishments and whether he gets Mr. Football or not i wish this kid the best of luck because i know he will go far with the attitude and athletic ability he has! Collinwood is a very quick and skilled team with good coaching, they played a good game an will give Waynesboro all they want. They should be proud of what they have accomplished in a very strong district. I am though disappointed in the fans for Cwood for giving up on their team at the end of the game. After the last touchdown by PC they were leaving in droves, personnally I would have been on the field with them after the game cheering telling them that they played a heck of a game and we will see PC again in the playoffs. The line of cars leaving the game looked like I-65 at quitting time. Great job Cwood football team on heck of a game.

Don't think he can talk to anyone because he is just a junior but heard he has been to Ole Miss on an unoffical visit

I agree with you! I really wish people would stop compairing them. I know Tucker personally and like you stated this isn't a 2 man team and if you ask either Tucker or Mercer they will agree and say they can't do it alone! Derek Watkins keeps Jacob safe on offense at all times! If this team is going to go anywhere people need to realize that this ain't tennis and these two can't do it but there selves, its going to take everyone. I commend all the athletes from Perry County and just hope for a safe and successful season!Go Vikings!

There is a possibility that Tucker will be back late January or early February. Its basically going to depend on how well he does in Physical Therapy. He hopes to return asap!
