GEEMAN! What is going on over in Antioch?!? So they get rid of the womans coach they got rid of Coach Carter for not even a year in because of her "outside activities" and now rumor is the Presdent is on his way out?

Josh Goodwin out at Sycamore will probably be looking to move. Having to coach both the Boys and Girls teams I would assume is not something he wants to do. Good coach. Geeman is out considering his son is done, we will have to wait for Coach Farmer to log on and hopefully give us the down low over at Ezell. Some of the rumors floating around are pretty crazy. Ty Wilson at Maplewood is a joke. A Doc Shelton disciple who is more about the "show" then the actual game. This guy should have never gotten a head job. Plus Maplewood is losing everything.

Looks like there are going to be alot of opening popping up around the midstate. Obviously you have the new school opening up in Smyrna which will pull alot of kids from Blackman should be a nice spot in a tough district. Rumors swirling about the Brentwood Acadmey job finally opening up. Whites Creek has there job open now, and I would say that there are going to be a few more surprises in the weeks to come. Also a big shake up over at Ezell Harding with their womens coach being dismissed leaving a very young and good team open. Does anyone know of any openings coming up?

Yeah not sure Hubie would leave right now. Does anyone know why they finally let the coach go? Should have been done alot sooner in my opinion. Doubt you are going to get Sonn to leave a good situation he has at Goodpasture. Pierce seems to be pratty comfortable at FRA but with the jr. high studs all bailing he might to. BA went to Texas to hire their football coach, who is to say they wont open it up like that again. Supposedly Charlie Ward was up for the football job, maybe he would be interested in the basketball job. Im sure the job will draw alot of attention.

All this whining about playing private schools and not winning MVP? What are you hillbillies gonna talk about when you go to East Lit and get smacked by some inner city kids? You don't want to play privates, after Saturday you won't want to play inner city schools. Here is an idea, start the FBAA (Farm Boys Athletic Association). That way you can only play small town country boy teams and you can make sure your boy gets the MVP!

USN & Davidson?? That is hilarious, considering that neither of these teams have a chance of making it out of their own tournament. FRA, Knoxville Webb, DCA, and Ezell should make it to sub-state with probably only FRA and Knoxville Webb going on. We are the mighty ENSWORTH, we just re-load!

Not sure why everyone is sleeping on Blackman. They basically return their entire team from last year with the addition of the Coleman kid who is a BEAST.

I hope everyone realizes that they are playing for 2nd in this Region. FRA will cruise into the state tournament. Im not sure anyone else from this region will be able to play with ECS, Lausanne, or any of the other top teams from Memphis. Ezell is a joke, with their "new regime" over there I would imagine a coaching change in the near future would be a big possibility.

Vincent Yarbrough has to be in the discussion. He was among the top 5 -10 list on any recruiting page his Sr year and was only 16! He could have gone another year of HS. I think someone was eating some special brownies when they decided to start this post.

Why is Goodpasture so slow to hire? Are they even interviewing yet? Martin is going to Ravenwood more than likely. Would hate to see him go, but Coach Wade would be an awesome hire!

Anglin from MBA is very good. And the coach from Franklin, Johnson I think. Lets not get to excited about Ramsey, from what I can tell 100+ of his victories have come by way of home schoolers and teams like Pleasant View Christian.

Now this is a topic I can get excited about! What happened to Martin was shady but it happened, time to move on. There will be a ton of interest in the job. Here are a few big names they might talk with; Wade - Guy is a winner no matter where he has been he gets it done. And who doesnt love khaki shorts? Crabtree - He will be all over this. Sumner Co. Doesnt pay anything and this is a great situation to be stepping into. McNeal - Think he might jump at the chance to come home. He can win at Goodpasture. These 3 would be the top 3 candidates on my list. Not sure how Dorris name was brought up? If you are gonna talk with him might as well call Coach Pack!

Gonna go out on a limb and say Macon Co? Ha, when is the tournament?

Well after watching FRA hand it to us the other night I can see why this post is not getting alot of love. FRA should roll to a state title this year. Their only real competition will come from the teams in Memphis. I wish we would of been at full strength but either eay they played a great game and we were flat. Not alot to talk about when Ezell seems to be struggling with all of those new "recruits" in, USN is a total bust and seems to get blown out nightly, DCA will struggle without a bench. The only real competition FRA might have in region will be Knox Webb who I still do not think can handle them. We on the other hand need to get it together quickly or it will be a long season for us as well.

I am referring to the rumor about new kids at EH coming from the two HS in Antioch? Not sure what Geeman is on or where his two posts are coming from. Ezell becoming the Ensworth of Antioch, whoa put down the pipe!

Um..... I'm predicting a 5th to 6th place finish in your horrible district. Good luck with that!

Geeman, What's the word on all of EH new "transfer" students from Cane Ridge/Antioch? Rumor has it you guys have loaded up with a few new faces.

Briarcrest. BA has talent but horrible coaching, MBA has great coaching but not alot of talent. JPII has some talent and a decent coach, they will be fun to watch.Nichols is a beast and they could give us a run. Your league from what I saw this summer will be FRA hands down out of the East with no one coming close. Marberry is a special player and is starting to want it which is going to be scary. Knox Webb is well coached and has some decent talent so they could make a little run. USN has the Nash kid who will score in bunches but no supporting cast. Also have a new coach. DCA lost alot but has a nice core with Joy, Ewin, and Outlaw back. Out west Lausanne has Payne but he is a head case and will lose his fair share of games all by himself. ECS is HUGE and I would love to see a Rob M vs. Skal L matchup. Harding has an awesome coach so you can never count them out.

Outside of BA I like Ensworths chances of bringing home another trophy.

Why do you get on Coacht? Most of the posts on any of the topics are "gossip" about a player or team?

Lets just see how it all plays out. I was simply stating my opinion on what might happen. But if I am correct, we will see in about a month, can I expect an apology from you?
