Yea Go Karns I think you see the obvious assumption that Karns will be awful next yr. Not taking anything away from them this yr they had a great sr class and it fell in Coach Witts lap but I think we will see if he can cut it next yr when he actually has to coach kids to make them better and I have never heard of playing the 2012 season but celebrating the 2011 season haha gokarns must be seeing the big picture that karns was loaded this yr and next yr just might take some coaching and oh yea hardin valley 31 and beavers 7

Yea Karns schedule showed face friday night. They play a big boy team and got straight whipped and yea it could have got really bad and yea they scored there 14 against the 2's just like they did against powell. Still cant believe Karns called a timeout to try to score again with 10 sec left. Karns might now win another game the rest of the yr but good job with the 5 wins against teams that might have 5 wins combined

Well they cant go 2 and 8 cause they are 3 and 2 now and they did beat carter which has won some big games.

Agree I didnt know karns was suppose to beat anybody except maybe campbell county and thats a maybe. its funny how the south doyle loss wasnt suppose to happen. wasnt there but it was a loss and i saw where they beat carter last night and i think they were 4 and 1. like i said they havent beat a team that has won more than one game!!!!!!!but gokarns09 i like the dedication. Now on the positive side there d is good and if they had any type of o they would be a handful. The qbs are terrible and it has to be frustrating to be that bad on offense and great on d. I believe the coaching staff is a little heavy on d and they might need to find a coach to run the o next year

I think the beavers are in trouble. The two games they have lost are by the only two teams they have played that have winning records. The wins are central who has not won a game campbell county which has won one clinton which is really struggling and a small team out of kentucky. They are finally reaching the meat of there schedule and there offense is gonna cost them some games. The beavers are not as good as there record shows and the 2nd half of there schedule will show it

Ive watched south doyle these past couple of yrs and I have to say they look so much better this yr. The defense looks much better and the offense is improved. They need to get the running game going to help the qb but I am so happy they are improving. Good job coaches

Well South Doyle opens the season with a win and I could not be more happy for them. This is a team that has won one game in 3 years I think and they deserve something right to happen to them. Not sure how good Karns was but great job cherokees

From what I hear SD has alot of kids coming back and this could be the yr they do something. Good qb and wrs along with a RB. Not sure bout the big boys but alot of them are back I believe. Think alot of the starters last yr were soph and juniors. I think this team is going to be a surprise team to everyone

So whats going on with the karns beavers. any predictions for the season?

Spring time is here!Have the beavers already had spring practice and if so does anybody have any info of how it went or what they are doing on offense and defense? Also who are gonna be the big dogs this next fall in our league. Figure powell would be with the kids they got coming back but really not sure bout anybody else.

Has anybody heard anything bout any new coaches being hired? Just curious cause I heard we lost some coaches for some reason.

The first game will probably be a good game. Think both teams have alot coming back so its gonna be a toss up. I will be there supporting the beavers!

I was replying to soxfan comment not yours! and yes it does get old everytime we get a new coach saying we are starting a new tradition and everything is great now cause we got rid of the coaches that were terrible. Then the season starts and the beaver lose 2 out of three and now the new coaches are being dogged and parents and former players want new coaches. Karns goes through coaches like underwear and its getting old. Im a fan of the beavers and I want them to win but good grief Im tired of hearing we are starting something new and its gonna be wonderful and if its not good within 2yrs the coaches are fired or they leave cause they are tired of the drama. Just cant wait to see what happens next fall if the beavers struggle and from what it looks like they dont have many coaches now. Does anybody know how many head coaches karns has had within this 30 something yr drought of losing. Yea this coaching thing at karns is getting really old. I guess the people of karns think the formula of fixing 30 something years of losing is running out coaches and getting new ones every 2 to 3 yrs. Who in the world would want to coach there with all you read about. Parents and players always complaining bout something. Time to man up and look in the mirror

You all do know that Karns was missing like 10 starters due to other sports. Its just funny how people are running there mouths bout we beat you. ITS SPRING PRACTICE GET A CLUE.

being a 2 yr starter means nothing and really that nothing to brag about. Karns needs to realize that there 2 yr starters dont match up to other players opponents and the last 30 yrs can tell you that. Just be happy that you guys are competing and atleast you guys beat powell and HV

Look if Im correct Karns has not had a winning season in like 20 or 30 something years! There has been alot of coaches in that time and it cannot be all coaching. You have to have players to win and Karns just dont. And the ones that complain bout the coaching are the ones that thought they were players and want to find someone else to blame. Coaching is overrated the players are the ones that have to make plays so all it basically comes down to is the writing on the wall not a winning season in 20 TO 30 SOMETHING YEARS. THATS ALOT OF COACHES TO BLAME

Who does the mountaineers open up with and what are the chances of them winning? Does anyone know anything bout the first team the mountaineers play?

well to run that type of offense you need to have atleast 3 to 5 good backs and maybe a qb that can run alright. Not sure if you guys do but for the coach to change from spread to wing t he must have the backs to do so. Not a fan of the offense but it does grind the game out and if you are able to throw at all out of that offense then it could give teams fit. Wonder if the coaching staff has ever coached a wing t offense?

well has anybody heard anything bout the first opponent in Karns. I know last year it was a game down to the wire. Just wondering what they have coming back

Havent heard much about the team this offseason. Its been quiet up in Gov country and that could be bad or good. Dont know upcoming season guess its the same as last years. Think the first game was karns not really sure and who could forget that game. Also heard wb hired John Young who has been at heritage and maryville

Yea but the 2nd half of the schedule is rough if i remember and those first four games are not given. South-doyle will be down of course but Karns lenoir city and seymour will compete. It will be good to get 2 wins out of the first 4 games

well you guys did make some strides last season but can you all add onto that? The most important games are always the first ones. You have to come out strong and build off wins not losses. Karns is the first game who is the 2nd?
