There's a little hole in the wall BBQ joint across from the sale barn that is really good...This is it, or here it is, or something like that. Better check with the locals to make sure it's still open, it's been a while since I was there. Really good though.

For sure not just a place to go watch a football game (although that's great too). If you enjoy hunting, fishing, photography, or just being outdoors, there's nowhere to top it. Probably not for everyone as much as myself, but I love it up there.

If you've never been, go. Take all day if you can. Lots of things to see and do for good ol' boy types that just can't be found anyplace else on earth.

Back to the game... In the event that I am able to go to a game this week, this is definitely it. Two well rounded, talented teams. Maybe Cornersville is the favorite, but a looonnnggg bus ride and home field favor LC... no idea who I think wins this one, but I'd bet that it will be an instant classic. Sincerely... best of luck to both, safe travels, and hope to get to meet some of y'all there.

Even though you beat us in a quarterfinal... in the freezing cold... during a hurricane...I enjoyed every moment of it at your field. Am I crazy or what?

Atmosphere, maybe... we're still a long way off on the facilities to compete with Peabody and Huntingdon though. Don't get me wrong, we love it as is... a few short years ago an officiating crew dubbed our field "the cow pasture"... it stuck.

It brewed for most of the season... Signal had grown to double (appx.) the enrollment of a 2A school and were hard loaded with talent... Trousdale gave 'em a great effort, and the fans weren't about to let 'ol Eddie plant that flag at midfield. The year...why, it was "back in the day"!!!
