If I was playing Souh Side I would play zone all night. No way I play them man to man. They are too quick. I do like South Side in this one though by 6. I will take Westview by 8.

Have you seen them play or just speculation of years past?

GC will be a handful at the end of next year. Sweat will be your PG, Bass and Neal at 2 and 3, Hart and Hunt at 4 and 5. Zoe Neal, Macy's sister will come off the bench as will Amy Lee, another big post. That ain't including our freshman this year who all play on JV, who have not lost a game his year. We got Cantrell and Goad coming in from Rutherford next year and Micah Hart, another Edie Darby, coming in two years. Wilkins feeder programs have started to feed. They will not be rebuilding. They will be reloading the next five years. I think Greenfield takes a hit after next year. GC's route to the Boro might be easier in a couple of years.We will be a beast down low next year with Hart and Hunt at the same time. I imagine 2 or 3 freshman will step up and help the guards next year.

I will say this about GC. I am very proud of the way they shot the ball in the clutch all year. I don't think they had but one or two before the fourth quarter. Very proud of them. It didn't suprise though that we would struggle shooting the ball over there. Every body has struggled so I figured we would too and we did. Peabody had a great game plan getting it to Hill early and often. Thought we would have played more 2-3 zone on them than we did since we did well in that at their place. Peabody played well and will be a force again next year.

I think next TCA will win the private sector next year. They will be loaded to the gills. Little Lee and Little Goehring will be working out tommorow doing the extra stuff. They will be 10 deep easy maybe 12.

I agree. Clarkrange showed out this summer at MTSU. I haven't seen Clay play but they got to be good the way they play Clarkrange.

Thought TCA had them but last three minutes cost them as it did with GC over at TCA. Thought the shot on top of the key by the post and some bad TO's late cost you. But Chloe Moore took over the game with a bad wheel and showed what kind of player she is.

Be interesting to see if GC goes back to the 2-3 zone that cut them off last meeting. Don't know if you was there but GC was down 12-6 and went to the 2-3 zone and went on a 23-9 run and used it in second half almost exclusively. Peabody was in disarray much of the night. Will be interesting.

Both games will be interesting. Can TCA handle Greenfield's press? If so, it will be a tight one. Which team GC or Peabody is going to shoot better and have fewer TO's? I am not going to pick either. Just going to watch and see what happens. Will be two great games I am sure.

Tore ACL twice if I am not mistaken. She was a beast in middle school and injuries shut her down.

Thought GC put on a clinic last night of taking it to the rim and scoring in transition and using defense to set up offense. I said around Christmas if GC starts playing fast and up tempo more consistently they will be a handful. I think GC's guards are playing great getting the ball up the floor and playing fast and protecting the ball. Now Peabody is a dangerous team and GC will have to continue to play at a high level to win Saturday Night. Peabody has a great press and a great post player and if they are hitting shots can beat any body. But I am very proud the level GC is playing right now and hope it continues.

No doubt I will always pull for GC to win the Gold Ball. If they get knocked out I am a fan from whoever is representing West TN. Prayers for safety and health of all the players!!!

Basketball has emerged as a 365 day a year sport. If you are not playing somebody else is. There is that art of coaching to motivate kids to want to run through a brick wall for you. If you have kids who aren't willing to make the sacrifice to get better and do the extras then that is on the kid. If you have kids who are doing the extras and are working hard to get better and are making sacrifices to win championships and the coach is bringing them down, them that is on the coach. I listened to one of Nick Saban's press conferences and he talked about this generation of athlete and how it is totally different than it was 15 years ago on how to motivate these kids and how you talk to them. I don't know nothing about the Dresden Coach other than he has been nice to me when I met him along with his dad and they have had a lot of success. Hopefully they will get healthy next year and have a better year.

Good win for Peabody no doubt. Obviously Gleason wasn't able to dictate the pace like they do a lot. Peabody's pressure is always a concern. Would have been very interesting last year if Mayberry would have stayed healthy.

Union City played us tough for a half as expected. Good win for TCA. Very good team. Their post play is lethal and as good as you will see.

Yeah Gleason played us really tough over at Martin in the Christmas Tournament and could have very easily won that game. Obviously the ball handling cost them tonight. Yeah it is very hard to beat a team that is pressing you and your not pressing back.

I figured the Gleason zone would be tough on Peabody. Did Gleason lay zone? That is how they play us.

Thanks for the update. I thought Gleason played really well against Greenfield especially first half. I didn't see this coming at all. Great win for Peabody. They are a different breed with their defensive pressure.

Gleason your right. Very good team and well coached. Good team this year. Never knew why he left Westview. I think it was for a college job. But he laid the foundation there and I bet he wished he could have coached some of them teams looking back and that is no disrespect to Gleason.

Never know until they all play. You guys handled the field last year. I think GC and Clarkrange would have definitely made the field better last year up there. But we will start to get a better idea real soon. Loser leave town starting tonight.

I think Gleason's zone will give Peabody trouble. Unless Gleason just has a bad game I don't see them losing.

Obviously you are not familiar with the GC/UC series. They were in our district for a few years and it is always a tough game. Throw the records out the window in this game. I think we will win but it won't be easy I will assure you. Greenfield will have a running clock IMO. Gleason and TCA I will take less than 6 points.

No doubt. You guys handled it well last year. I think the field at Mursfreesboro will be good but I think whoever from West TN makes it will definitely be battle tested.
