A pitcher is not allowed to get a new ball except for at the beggining of the inning before the batter gets up to bat..or of course if the ball is hit out or is ripped.

well lets see here...gps lost their number 1 pitcher, their lead off batter that did most of the work in the line up, and a few other seniors. and as of last year thier number 2 pitcher wasn't much punkin. baylor didn't lose much either, they are def. beating them this year.

I say that SD is one good team from the East. I have seen them play two times this year and enjoyed both times. Always well coached and if I am not mistaken young pitchers who are excellent. But I think this year the trophy will stay in the Mid-state and "Cat" will get it for them. okay MrNoitAll...you must have something against teams from the east because SD is a powerhouse all the way around. Seems to me that the only thing Beech has is "Cat" and people are hitting her and so will SD. Obviously SD has better pitching thats why they only have 7 runs scored against them and Beech has 24 when they have supposedly better pitching and played less games!

Wat is Beech's record and does anyone know how many runs have been scored on them???

I don't think the player meant they were definately going to state I think what she meant was that her team is determined to get to state no matter what it takes. Because im pretty sure that team knows more than anybody that you just don't automatically get to go to state cause u have only lost 3 games. k thanks
