  1. You can double check my last post but you will find that nowhere in my post does it say anything about the referees being unprofessional, I was just simply stating the facts of the situation.
  2. When a referee has to tell the official scorekeeper (who is also the home team coach's wife) "you told me you wouldn't do this" when she yells at the referee for making a bad call that you're getting some home cooking. And not to mention when the final buzzer sounds, the referee turns to the home crowd and tells one of the fans "see ya buddy!" then runs off the court. How is it possible for referees that are "buddies" with the home crowd be allowed to officiate a game that will end one team's season? Not to mention the foul count for the game was 25-13 the home team with the lesser. This shouldn't be allowed.
  3. This is now the biggest game for SC this year no doubt. WH is the only thing standing in the way of an undefeated season for SC (providing they beat a poor York squad) and just to add to the drama of the situation, its on TV. If memory serves me right, this could be the first undefeated season for Maynord at SC. Having seen both teams play, I'll give the advantage to SC SC-28 WH-14
  4. Expect Manning to have a monster game rushing. Don't think G-ville has an answer for him. SC can pass if necessary, but not sure they will have to do that very much this game. Don't think G-ville will get their 1st win against Maynord this year. Look for SC to run away with this one fast. SC- 48 G-ville - 7
  5. If I'm not horribly mistaken, Smith Co. Has only played one district game so far and that was yesterday. They beat Cannon Co. 11-1 in 5 innings I believe.
  6. I heard through the grapevine that Smith Co. played Riverdale siegel and LaVergne at Mt. Juliet. It seems as though they lost by 6 runs to AAA State champs Riverdale and beat the other 2. Don't know how good these teams are but I know that SC was the smallest school there. You can form your opinion from there.
  7. The "oven" (McKinney) and "salt" (Pinson) both had one of the best games i have seen them play. Good luck to the owls as they should handle CC with no trouble
  8. Pinson is the quarterback of this defense no doubt about that. if he is unable to play, WH could possibly catch a break on offense. Let's just hope we can get him back this week!! GO BIG OWLS!!! SC- 21 WH-7
  9. SC wins. LA lost a lot of talent in the seniors that graduated, especially at offensive and defensive line. Also heard LA has had a few good players quit. Just dont think LA will be able to handle SC this year. GO OWLS!!!!
  10. This may be true but if i recall correctly, they have failed to beat SC since they hired a little 'ol coach named Jimmy Maynord so good luck beating him as it would be the first time
  11. Smith Co. wins this one. G-ville won't be able to run the ball on a solid SC run defense. Plus the game is at "the hole" and it is extremely hard to win there. So good luck owls!
  12. Yes Smith Co. has good freshmen talent. I think Smith only has one senior the center fielder, Kemp #7. She will be hard to replace but this young Smith Co. team will be good for the next few years
  13. The 2010 District 8AA tournament got underway last night at Baxter with the favorite to win the district, #1 Dekalb Co., losing to #4 Smith Co. 5-6. After that game, #3 Livingston beat #2 Upperman 2-0. Two upsets early in this tournament. Can't wait to see how it all pans out in the end cause it will be a good one!
  14. I think that L.A. and Smith Co. are the teams to sneak into that second place spot behind Dekalb. Smith has some good freshman who will need to get some field experience before the district tourney. L.A. only lost one senior and will still be a tough opponent. Will be an interesting race for the second spot
