More congrats to Lacey and Haeberle, named to 1st Adidas All-Star Classic next Sat. @ Cumberland. Rest of roster should be posted tonight.

Station Camp- 26-10 school records for both wins/losses. Led by: Joe Arena .411, Chase Howell .408, Lee Haeberle .323. Believe the original post just asked for highest averages... not a game by game history, albeit quite impressive, as usual, it's the FC way.

And better I hope. Strike zone this season was way out of line by most. We had a few that got it right. Is there any provision for them to get any extra $$ if a game goes longer with, say 10 innings? The outcome and effect on a game can be determined easily if an ump justs quits... literrally.

Also Farragut over D-B, Riverdale over Warren Cty., and Franklin over Rossview. Didn't see scores on Bearden-Jeff. Co. or Hardin Co.-Germantown. Looks like a stout field so far. Since last game, SC players are getting some bites, should have some news soon.

Wonder if they wore those nasty whites... sort of like a playoff beard, but with holes, tears, and lots of dirt. Good luck to MJ, keep the 9AAA ride alive, pulling for you.

Preaching to the choir here, saw it most the year with taking bats out of their hands with 4 inches off being strikes. Although some teams do adjust , get up on the plate & go oppo. Even if it goes both ways, it's still wrong.

A strong estasblished booster club should understand their only purpose is to SUPPORT the baseball program, not contol or run it. If our coach asks or needs, we find a way to make it happen. Our upgrades at SC in the last few years speak volumes, without restricting staff on other duties or activities. And how 'bout Bearden beating the FU for top seed in sub/sectional. Good luck to all. What would a state tourney be w/o the F?

Nice, but nobody expects perfection, just KNOW the rules and don't blow the obvious. And if a game goes past your bedtime, suck it up and give back to the kids instead of the "screw you", I'm paid and out of here. Even if you get cussed or harrased in the parking lot, doesn't make it right. Back to previous, weatherpeople got it made.

Sounds like some facts being overlooked and "know sportsmanship" may be the funniest I've seen here in awhile. Sometimes to check before sending or reply is good "ole" idea even in East TN. Doubt they want some more of Station Camp, even after a rain delay.

Still sounds like somebody wants to return to the days of D Price and S Gray, as in one arm wins it all. That's one of the reasons for the change in 9AAA... back to back games. If your team and staff are strong, you should be able to advance. The mere idea that they end on Friday instead of Sat. is silly, as such a huge gate and $$ could be in place for the finals. Gee, they do it for football, why not the little guy.

Shouldn't matter, once the ump with the call makes the call, play is dead. TSSAA really should look into some of these guys and see what behind this crap. Might surface some unwanted findings. Clearly called foul, yet home make another ruling and leave 1st out of it. OMG!

Sorry to not respond earlier, tough to swallow this one. You guys should blister them tonight. We had many opportunities, yet couldn't get a call or a key hit, I'll get back to the calls... Lee pitched one of his best, 9 innings, yes lots of pitches. The kid didn't want this season to end and was lights out with a couple errors producing 2 unearned runs. Not giving details, that way doesn't sound like I'm blaming, but the problems all year at a couple key positions finally bit SC. Bottom of the 10th, the strike zone disappears, as in the 3 and 4 hitters were struck out more than once. It's like these guys say screw SC, I'm outta here. Call at 3rd, plays at 1st, and no strikes from Lacey whose been $$ all year. Sounds like sour grapes, yes I'll hear it, but until it's run up your a$&, you don't know. Even had Rossview parents agree it wasn't right. Up to the 10th, it was a even called game, then goes south. Good luck to MJ, best chance for 9AAA to put 2 in State was here.

Agreed, it's all about seeing the better competition and getting better. Most HS summer teams don't have that on their agenda as yet.

SC @ Rossview 5AAA moved to Tues. @ 7.

Yet with some, skin is so thin, doesn't take much to rattle nerves. SC has had a good year and some should be rewarded for that. Others are deserving likewise. And your picks are?

Right, Doyle, if you've been following very much of this or 9AAA, there's not much I say, however glowing that doesn't ruffle somebodies feathers. Try to take the high road, there's always somebody kickin' rocks in the path.
