Every game that I have seen Drew Hayes play, he always keeps his cool. That is his best quality. When you see the way he plays the game....you can tell that his main priority is to win. His leadership and the fact that he is a team player shows as well. Just in case some of you can't read or spell.....the kid's name is KEGAN not Keegan or Keagan. I just had to get that off of my chest. I really think he will help McKenzie's team out because they are in need of a solid ballcarrier and Ball is just the man for the job. I'm not sayin he will turn them into state champions but the road will be a lot easier with him on the roster.

I really don't see any back in Tennessee no matter how many times they get the ball being close to 4,000 yards....3,000 is pushing it. The only person to gain 3,000 yards in one season was Troy Flemming of BGA a few years ago.

All must be proven on the field....by every team.

How fast is this Eric Wright kid? I heard rumors that you guys will have a good quarterback that is young.

By the way, Camden did play us a lot better than Huntingdon did last year. Camden beat us 17-0.....and we had everybody playing. Huntingdon beat us 26-7 and we were without our starting tailback/safety.

You'll see if they are sympathy votes or not during week 1.

Division II

I think most people would fall under B. I know that the Maryville fans want their flag because it represents their team. I don't see a problem with this. I just hate seeing people that wear rebel flags and wave them because of racism. That is one of the most ignorant things I think a human being can do.

People are always going to be out to get Riverdale anyway they can, its easy to see why.

Graig Cooper is a bad man, and from what I've heard Crawford is too. I'll have to go with Cooper on this one though.

Why do people feel that they need to use the rebel flag to represent their heritage. So does that mean that African-Americans should wear things with African flags on them? You people need to leave all of that in the past. Today's world is different.

Playoff Teams-Westview, Huntingdon, Milan, and Humboldt.

Liberty has been improving steadily. Last year they were young but they played a great game against two great teams, one being South Side. They also have Brandon Howard. Sounds like Liberty could have a good year.

My teammates and I like to strip down and play tag on the field. After that we get dressed and go for a hike through the hills of Decatur County. The people that make it back in time for the game get dressed. Not really, but seriously....I usually like to be alone before a game without anybody talking to me and then when its almost time to go out. I get one of my friends to slap me across the face 3 times extremely hard. That seems to calm my nerves.

We can all share our opinions all day, but there is no way to decide who the BEST back is. There are too many factors that play into it. All we can really do is agree that all of these backs mentioned are good backs.

I agree, Camden has the best overall team in the region: motivation, dedication, talent, and teamwork. They have what it takes to get the job done, but I am a firm believe that they can be beaten in a region game. I'm not saying its going to happen for sure but it is possible. As for Lewis Co, I know you guys are going to be good. I never said that you wouldn't be. I just don't think the team will be back at the status they had a couple of years ago just yet. It will take a year or two to get to the level of hype you guys had when Sharp was a senior.

Armstrong is a great back but I don't think he will be able to do much because he doesn't have much of a supporting cast.

Some of you know how our returning starters play....even though some of them are going to show some improvement, but don't let it fool you about these guys that didn't start last year. They have some talent and I'm sure it will show after a couple of our games this year.

Thats good to hear. Good Luck Gaston. I'm sure you Riverdale fans are going to be pumped up knowing you have a future SEC back on your team. I know I would be.

Even though I play for Riverside, it's hard to go against Camden with the way they played last year and the people they have coming back. I believe Lewis County will be a good team, but I don't think they will be a powerhouse until these middle school teams get some experience on the high school level. As for Riverside, I think we have a really good shot at this region. Last year we didn't play to our potential but everybody knows that this year we don't have a choice, because we have a weaker schedule. I really don't think our defense will be weak. We have a lot of speed in our secondary, and we have a great leader on defense, LB Sean McCormick 6'3 235 lbs. I think we have the potential to be really strong on defense. McCormick is a linebacker and i don't think anybody we play has any one man that can stop him. Our secondary will be led by Hunter Smith. He has some good experience so he should be able to handle his role at FS. Our offense should be solid since we have so much experience in the backfield. The line should be strong and we definitely have th size up front. I really believe this will just depend on who comes out fired up the most every Friday night. The teams are too close to say that any one team will dominate. It looks like a very competitive region is set up and I know everyone is ready to get it started. I'm going to just go ahead and say that I think the playoff teams will be(in no order):Riverside, Camden, Lewis Co, and Loretto.

Sounds good to me; everybody needs to come see it too. I am extremely anxious to give L-Town a piece this year. They always do this though....the talk so a lot but if you notice, Riverside won 3 out of 4 years. Get ready to write up a win percentage of 80 after this years game. The tigers don't know what they are going to deal with. And as for the cheerleaders, you might want to suit them up too because who knows when your going to need a backup.

Basically a toss up. My prediction 1Westview 2Huntingdon 3Milan, I don't see USJ being a contender.

I think you are referring to Adrian Donald. This kid will only be a junior and I'm sure he will put up big numbers for the Vikings.
