After watching Wayne County last night they (South Lawrence) may be #2.

I caught the WC/Decatur Co. game on Friday. DC by 11. WC led after 1st. DC by 1 at the half. Close game up until mid 4th quarter and DC pulled away. WC looked ok considering 4 days of practice. Football boys still playing rough. Freshman Rice & freshman Bevis played well to be freshmen. I thought that the Camfield kid looked pretty good for WC as well & soph Tyler Brown played good in sperts. I think WC goes to Adamsville tonight & plays MTP at home tomorrow night.

No. They reschedule most of them.

Not since summer camp. This week was first week of practice with all team members there as I've been told. They only had 4 or 5 players that were not in football. I would not think WC will do very well until after Christmas.

They only had 4 players that were not involved with football. 2 are freshmen and 1 sophmore and 1 senior. This is their first week to practice.

Richland beat Loretto by 15 last night and Stown lost to Spring Hill. Frank Hughes lost to Adamsville. D12 looks weaker except Cwood so far and WC has not played. CA beat Hickman County and Cully lost to MTC. CA looks strong for D11 not sure about MTP.

If PC keeps retiring football numbers they will not have any numbers left. They have been playing for something like 15 years and have about 10 numbers retired already. Nice display over there I do like the trophy case and it is great to honor players from the past. Not sure about retiring all of those football numbers just yet.

Catsdad I don't see CA winning it either.

I would look at Lance Nutt & Derek Willis from Waynesboro. They have made great strides with the WMS team in Waynesboro.

Frank Hughes' best player is in the 8th grade.

Well I've been watching the Cwood team and they are the real deal this year. They took it to Richland last night and won by 26.

I caught the Cwood/Richland game last night. It was close until just before the half and Cwood took off & Collinwood won 86 to 60.

That is Robertson. Handles the ball very well and shoots the 3 ball. He played summer ball with your Richland point guard Jacob Farrar.

Cwood looked really good on Saturday night. They are going to be very hard for other D12 teams to compete with this year. Tucker Roberson had 15 points & 5 assists in the 1st quater and finished with a game high of 23 or 24 points. Cwood hit several 3's and very strong inside. They played Riverside and Riverside was not a bad team. They had 18 points in the 1st quarter and kept it close the rest of the way.

I watched Cwood Saturday night and plan to go back for the game tonight between Cwood & Richland. Cwood looked really good for this early in the season. They scored 34 points in the 1st period and Riverside was not sloppy with 18. Tucker Roberson scored 15 points & had 5 assist in the 1st period alone. He was unstoppable in the first period and had something like 23 or 24 for the game. Cwood is going to make some big noise this year mark it down.

They were pretty good in 1984 and they kicked or stuff that year but we were horrible.

I'll go with Cwood on top with all of the talent that they have coming back but I think that WC will finish in the top 3. Stown's Nate Morrison got off to a good start last night with 15 points and Luke Scott added 11 points. Both of those guys should be All District this season and with Tanner McGill back Stown should be better. Cwood has Logan Montgomery (District MVP last year) back with All District Wesley Pigg and their point guard Tucker Roberson (who could be the District MVP this year) coming back with several other good players back. Cwood should be state bound with the talent that they have on this team. They will should win the biggest part of the games on their schedule. Richland and Mt. Pleasant from district 11 could be their biggest challange.

It looks like Stown & PC both got wins and FH got the Lose last night. Cwood gets going Friday & Saturday. I'm guessing that Loretto & WC won't start until after football finishes up. I've heard that WC only has 4 or 5 players that are practicing right now due to football and 2 of those are freshmen & the others are sophmores & 1 senior. If that is the truth then WC will be behind for a while.

Taking care of the ball has been a problem for Wayne County this year. They have had several fumbles this year. I would bet that they average about 1.5 or 2 fumbles lost per game. If they can keep CA's big receiver in check and get pressure on their QB then they will win this game. CA can't stop Wayne County's rushing attack unless Wayne County turns it over several times. I'm going with a 32 to 28 Wayne County win.

I'd say Wayne is no going to be very good this year. They might win 6 games. They have just lost way too many players. They lost 3 OL & 3 RBs/LBs. They just don't enough kids to have a good runner. I'd say stop the run & cover the Rice kid and you win. No one else can catch it or run it.

Sounds like a game of a lifetime. Just wondering who the District MVP is or when is it announced?

The line will be just fine, of course they lost some great lineman but there will be know problem filling in those spots.Players like simms, bratcher, roumbough,willis, and some others will have to step it up. Most of those players got alot of playing time last year. Did here that Spring Practice starts today? Are there any games on tap? I don't know of any games but I hope they play one or two. Did the spring practice get going yesterday with the rain? Who long will they practice? School is out soon.

I'll agree with GRAD he is good but not D1. He is too small to play LB maybe a DB at the next level (small college). He is one of the best players in this area but I seen several good players in this area not play anywhere. He maybe the best QB in this area as far as numbers go but not D1. He is a very good athlete but not what I would call the real deal. To be honest I can't say that I've seen the real deal play football in this area in many years. Maybe back in the late 80's a guy from Spring Hill looked like the real deal and went to play at Mississippi State but dropped out later.
