OMyy well on the bright side the Mavs defence can get some extra secondary practice before Betsy comes to town because I am confident Betsy will be throwing the long ball to the deep corner of the field. That's just Betsy.

I remember growing up in Winfield. Oneida has had some great teams of past!

On paper these two teams are equal win lose records. So that should mean a fairly close game. In reality the Mavs have had a brutal schedule, replace many State championship players and added a late QB recruit. Had a lot of growing and learning before becoming shipshape and going undefeated in R2 for 7 years in a roll and have turned out be Championship Pedigree, once again.

Yeah walker valley appears to be in the hunt. I have to check them out too!

Exactly you and Lawnman know me. Something to keep the Mavs advertisement not a lot on here for Mavs. Noones through the years you have been an Ace knowing when to calm me down. Sad thing is you Lawnman were always right haha. You guys are the best!

LOL true no body to talk to in South Doyle. Thought irritating a few Greeneville and Betsy fans. Finally someone gave me the time of day. I am done. Have big game to prepare for. Enjoyed the Greeneville and Betsy game and Tom Taylor does it justice!

I will say this whom ever comes out on top will most likely go to Chattanooga and probably play Pearl Cohen. Pearl Cohen will be a handful for the power house teams of East Tennessee (Greeneville, Elizabethton and AC). Wish the best to whomever represents East Tennessee. Before the Gloves come off, I would like to say looks more than likely Betsy and AC will meet in Anderson County and the winner more than likely plays Greeneville. Hope and pray all teams stay healthy, regardless of the winner. Let's keep the State 4-A Championship in East Tennessee! Ok let the games and new season begin!

Wella Greeneville and Betsy do have pretty good special teams. But let's face it with the Weather delays and a really overall weak schedule what can you expect. Both teams played there heart out tonight and each deserve to win. One big play made the difference. This is the Mavs Dream 2 be continued team. With the State leading passer and Mr. Football candidate Moog, plus a lights out defense, I really don't see any weakness (maybe our kick return coverage ) but we have 85% end zone kicker.

I may be missing something and I watched both teams but nothing is outstanding or shall I say standing out to me. The big Quellian run looked more like a lot of Betsy gave up on the play or were tired. I seen some blocks and it may one of those lala you sleep plays until defence is tired as well. But one could say the same for the AC West game too.

My bad. Had both games on at one time. I believe I got the Greeneville And Betsy game confused. Haha

The Tom Taylor broadcast one the best I have seen in East Tennessee. Really good broadcast!

I think there was team that did a 2 win and then a 3rd R1 victory last year. Good game tonight. They appear to be feeling each out for the playoffs.

Moog running like a Madman! #75 Gracen Bradshaw staying with the play and makes an incredible interception. That was "a never give up on the play" Play; that's what makes this year's team Special! Due to this ongoing QB chatter I am taking Betsy 24-14 over and beyond Greenville capabilities for this particular Friday night. Like they say it depends on who wants it the most!

Bradley Central an Animal. Definitely a different Level. AC scrimmaged them early and that's what Coach Gillum said! We did hold our own.

I guess with weather related issues then a weak overall schedule, one could (me) ask have Betsy or Greeneville really been tested. That was always the issue people brought up against the Mavs Chattanooga conference. However as we know the Mavs pretty much held there own and had QB Martin not got injured I would say the Mavs have at least 2 state championships. Sometimes you can't always go fully with the tested benchmark, but it's certainly always a question.

Either way it goes it's always a good game when Greeneville, Betsy or AC get together. This should be a fun game to watch. Betsy has built on what they had last year and don't forget what Greeneville showed against Alcoa; IMO, the short fist half, they edged out Alcoa. Betsy has the edge in the pass IMO as I don't think, I may be wrong, but I am not so sure Greeneville will be able to completely match the front line of Betsy. However when these two get together don't bet the farm either way. Hope its on stream or something. Should be best game of the week?

The Ariel assault Betsy brings will be dominant. From the films I have seen. Even the Mavs are preparing for this. Mavsinflight is even concerned and have ask coach Lambert to step it up on the pass rush. We will see more Friday!

The only thing certain in this game is the weather. The big question is will this game finish? The winner will get home field advantage against the Mavs. So how bad does each want it? Otherwise the loser plays AC at home to a hostile environment and the greatest show on turf. I am thinking Betsy wants this game leaving Greeneville to travel to Maverick stadium and face that Legion of Boom Defence of the Mavericks.

South Doyle is in complete rebuild, 2nd year at it. The Mavs Clinched the Region Victory over Gibbs. South Doyle has nothing to lose in this game. Win or Lose the Mavs just need to stay healthy, show some talent they may need to step up for the playoff journey to Chattanooga. After this game a new season begins.
