  1. Need to put the scores on these non - region games McCallie 55-35 over Cleveland McCallie 49-6 over McCminn Bowling Green 40-36 over McCallie Siegel 34-31 over McCallie MUS,MBA , BA, Ensworth all in my opinion are better than Bowling Green Ky
  2. Glock have the AD of the team that you represent or (pull for ) in Chattanooga or North Georgia ....call Coach Potter at McCallie or Coach Massey at Baylor and schedule a game. I am sure these coaches would like to stay in the Chattanooga area and play their non region games. Their is one more year left on the contracts and then teams can make a new schedule. McCallie out of region games this year were Cleveland McMinn co Bowling Green K Siegel No school from Hamilton Co is on McCallie schedule. Kudos to Cleveland , and McMinn they will play just about anybody.
  3. I think you are spot on Wes, what a great list of players. Busby from McCallie is a great player ....I think his height keeps him from being heavily recruited. McCallie had 3 other seniors who I think had good years....but probably not good enough to be considered 1st team all-state. Cam Walker- Two way tackle who will probably sign with a d1 school. CJ Fritz- wr/db will probably sign a d1 track scholarship Spencer Morgan- wr who had a number of catches until he hurt his knee in i think was the 9th game of the season and did not return for the rest of the season. Morgan from what i am told will have some d1 baseball offers if he can come back from off season shoulder surgery. Wes if you have time what is your evaluation of these players? If you don't know these players and don't feel comfortable commenting i understand. You always provide great information regarding d2 football.

  5. Little owl you started your post by calling me a pathetic sore loser just because I had a different view of the game than you did. When I read your post I was concerned that I was replying to a mus student or player. Just a few more notes from this game and I will be done with this. The mccallie coaches had 2 unsportsman like penalties called on them for disagreeing with some calls...the mccallie coaches handle themselves with class and I cant remember a game all year where they had 2 penalties called on the bench. As for next week I have seen both teams play...Big Red rolls over the mussys by 21 how do you like that prediction wes.
  6. This post by you little owl only confirms what I all ready knew and heard from some folks in Memphis...mus players and fans have a sense of entitlement about themselves. And yes the officials played a big part in deciding the outcome of the game. I guess you don't remember the play with 8 minutes left in the game and mus leading only 13-10 at the time...the same refree on the mus side calls a block in the back after mccallie makes a big first down and gets into mus territory. Clearly if you watch the video this was a terrible call,by the way since you know everything how many holding calls did the official on the mus side call on mccallie after 3rd down conversions. Home field advantage is very big in the d2 playoffs considering the amount of travel involved. I don't have an answer to the problem .....but mus having to beat cbhs, briarcrest, and st Ben for a number 1 seed what a joke. And by the way if you don't like my comments then don't reply to them. I don't want to get the pretty little d2 board shook up ....I challenged mus on a few things and I think you got upset.
  7. First of all I agree with you guys on the tssaa has no respect for the d2 schools.....the best league in the state and the championship game is being played on a Thursday night ,what a joke. I am a McCallie fan and was at the game against MUS in Memphis on Friday night. Mccallie clearly was the better team and outplayed mus. The officials were the worst I have seen in 30 years of watching high school football. MUS was awarded a touchdown clearly after the qb was sacked and the play should have been blown dead. The line judge on MUS side called 3 holding penalties after mccallie had converted 3rd and long situations. The mccallie boys played their hearts out and did all this with their qb and leading receiver out with knee injuries. MUS should feel very lucky to have advanced. If this game would have been played in Chattanooga ....mccallie would have won by 2 tds. Their needs to be some cross-overs game played in d2 aa during regular season. The west teams like MUS need to earn their number 1 seed and home field advantage.
  8. Come on Wes get your facts straight. Baylor did punt and also had 2 turnovers. This game was 17-14 going into the 4th qtr. McCallie after playing Siegel,Bowling Green, and Ensworth the last 3 weeks looked to be a tired football team Friday night. Baylor after playing JP2 and having an open date looked very fresh and were a well prepared football team. I give Baylor credit for beating a team that had more talent than them. McCallie should move their home game next year back to campus on Dodds Ave.....Baylor had a great home field advantage Friday night. This is like Tennessee playing Georgia in Athens and then moving their home game to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta may not be a good comparison ....come on McCallie move the game back to campus were your players want to play the game. One last thing Wes...what will an 11 team bracket look like.
  9. Redsman the kid from Mccallie is Spencer Morgan. He does have a shortstop look to him, a very athletic build. I dont know a Warren kid from Mccallie. Spencer made the TBCA team last year as a sophomore.
  10. Hey redsman what do you think about the kid from Mccallie from a scouting pov, heard he is getting some d1 interest. I think the kid was injured during football , i do not know the extent of the injury. I think he was the 3rd leading receiver in d2 football this year .iust a real tough and athletic kid. Just wondering if any of thes other ss play football.
  11. Hey Red Dad you have to excuse little cain he has never been in d2. He has no clue, he is use to playing Hixson , Howard , East Ridge and those teams.I am a red raider fan first but mccallie and baylor would have beat eh by 3 tds this year. Could you imagine eh playing ensworth, mba, ba, baylor and mccallie all in the same year. Red Dad they tried d2 and lost to jp2 twice. thats the jp2 that has won 1 game inthe league the last 4 years. Not bragging here the teams in d2 should beat public school teams. The sec of tenn high school football
  12. Mccallie school has a ss that is a junior that is being recruited by several d1 schools. I happen to know this because i stiill follow the program after my son graduated
  13. hey cane how bout a Mccallie vs EH game next year week zero . Or are you guys like the Ooltewah Chickens and cant play Mccallie or Baylor because of principals orders. Ooltewahs principal had a meeting with all their coaches and told them no playing Baylor or M ccallie
  14. Baylor has no chance not talented enough. Mccallie will handle Baylor next week. That little streak is over
  15. For what its worth, Mccallie beat Blackman in a scrimmage, and of course had no problem with Tyner.
  16. How was the Big Blue hurt by the opening of East Ham, you have no clue.
