After watching that game they will be playing for Taft not against them. Congratulations to the Greeneville team. Great season to bad we will not get to play next year. As for the deal with the bus, talking junk on this thread is one thing, but to attempt to murder 60 kids, I hope they catch the ones responsible and put them away for a long time. TBI needs to be brought in and find out who did it. The other school just had a few fans there it should not be hard to find them.

She plays middle forward on the soccer team and outscored all players on the team, top 10 in the state in cross country, point guard on the basketball team, track and softball star, 4.0 in the classroom and would easily be selected homecoming queen, she is liable to take out one of the GP players.

And she is just a 10th grader.

The game will be on the radio but no internet and just AM. Coach T will have updates on the scoreboard as the game goes on. Go Cyclones.

The exact same thing was said about the EHS AE game last year. Elizabethton has as much speed as anyone and as many athletes, they play smart football and have Shawn Witten calling the plays, they are at home and if you have never been to Brown-Childress its as close to a college atmosphere as any highschool game can get. Loudest music, biggest band, fireworks, packed stands, close to 3000 every game. It will be a close game and the girl tacked on her second fieldgoal against CD.

CD gave EHS all they wanted? The score was 30-7 late in the game until the Cyclone JV team through an INT. Great year Greene County, All five Carter County teams made the playoffs this year, Good job all ETn teams.

I did not know coach t approved anything. They have Greeneville #1 so it must be wrong? The Freeman Rankings (The Freeman Rankings will determine the teams selected for the Tournament of Champions.) National and State Freeman Ratings are the result of our collection of enormous amounts of information from teams throughout the country and the application of a computer model developed by our associate Ned Freeman. The most important thing to understand about how the ratings system works is that it is 100% objective. The size of the schools, their division, the league they're in, how good the school or league are historically, their geographic location, how well liked the school is, how good the league is in other sports do not matter and therefore, none of these factors are programmed into the system. Those subjective factors inevitably bias humans saddled with the daunting task of trying to figure out who the best teams in the nation, in a state, or a region really are? Instead, Ned's system just takes into account the facts. Cold, hard, and unfeeling fact - but as accurate, objective and fair as possible. How It Works! (A brief explanation of the factors that affect the Rankings system...) It uses a computer program to determine team rank. We do not poll coaches, sportswriters, or fans. Nor does our staff make any judgments on the merits of any individual team. Prior season history, school size, and comments on message boards are not considered in the rankings. The system utilizes the huge number of game results stored in the database. Generally, the more a team wins the higher the ranking, but the system takes into account quality wins (against other highly ranked opponents) and strength of schedule. For example, a team's ranking is hurt more by losing to a team that is ranked below them verses a team ranked ahead. Other factors that will affect the rankings are times when it has incomplete or inaccurate information. We will correct errors when they are reported to us. If we are missing a score, report it to us on the team's page. If we are missing a game on the schedule, send us a correction request. Generally, the more games that are played the more accurate the rankings, so if a team that you perceive as being very strong has played substantially fewer games than other ranked teams it may reflect the fact that we have less data to work with. Playoff games are weighed 2.1 times what a regular season game is. Movement indicates the up or down movement within the rankings when compared to our previously published rankings. The football rankings are updated once a week, other sports will be updated three times a week during the sport season.

I seem to recall it was just last year on Local TV Elizabethton spanked those little Devils all over the field and shut them out 10-0. I have it T-voed if you want to see it. So had we been 4a we would have brought home a ball a bit bigger then the second place one you have.

I don't see Elizabethton running up the score on CD unless the JV and Freshman players have a good night. After a couple of toutchdowns Coach Witten will pull his betters playes for the next week. But the JV does have some good players and may score 30 themselves.

Not to replay that game, but you had no offence the whole game your scores came off a kickoff return to the 3 and a punt snap over the head to the 20 for a field goal. You did not see Turner in that game and if I had to pick between him and Jaylin I'd pick Turner.

There were no more 1A teams around for them to play. Elizabethton will have to pull for South Greene if they win out in the top half of the quad and EHS wins the bottom you will have a 6-8 teams playing for a spot in the final 4. How bad would that make the new TSSAA playoff system look? It would also be a home game for Elizabethton.

If they do they are nowhere nearly as good at it as you guys are, ya'll have it down to a science. Greeneville is catching on though. If TSSAA were smart they would put all you guys in one conference, play against each other every week, huge crowds more money for them, ESPN and you wouldn't have to bother playing those piddly little non recruiting non pay and play schools.

With Elizabethton you never know who is coming at you even their center has the speed to break a 60 yard run. You will get a treat watching Elizabethton's three runningbacks. The senior Whitehead will run it right at you and dare you to tackle him. The dynamic sophomore duo of Moore and Turner will leave you amassed. Moore will be through the line before your dline has a chance to get out of their stance. Turner will have the d grabbing air all night. He is like a magnet when you try and put the positive ends together. The arm of Junior QB Berry will be something to watch, you have never seen a tighter spiral. On D we have 6'6" junior Matt Smith, he will tackle your whole backfield and will throw players out until he finds the one with the ball. Whitehead, Whitlock, Nidifer, Mullins and Hill will stop the run of your OJ and if you throw Bradley and Hubbard will take it the other way. Then in the second half you will get to see the JV team that knocked off Science Hill and DB this year with a few freshmen thrown in. Enjoy your high seed playoff spot, you guys earned it. In the 4 team districts you would only play 3 district games, win 2 and your in. I see a lot of 2-8 teams in the playoffs. You could combine the closest 2 districts and take the top 4.

You guys almost lost to Unicoi County, we were going to let the band play this one but if we take them they may not have anywhere to sit.
