I wouldn't call it hatred. BHS doesn't hate RHS. But we do hate to lose to them. It goes back to when half our student body was pulled away & sent to the new school. Those left behind had to deal with small, cramped, outdated, musty & broken down facilities while the kids who transferred to RHS got a state of the art campus. BHS struggled to win after losing so many players to RHS. Then RHS was good for a couple of years while BHS was down & that's where the BHS fire began. BHS has grown & nearly replaced all the lost students. And we've rebounded in football and been very good the last 6 years or so. Now, it's just fun to beat up on the little brother and keep him in his place. :]
