I was talking about when SM had a team with a winning record they dominated RB. They haven’t dominated anyone since Bill Price.

Troll, I see no reason why SM cannot be decent year end and year out. Can they ever get back to a winning record? The teams they are playing now seem much weaker overall. East Hamilton is also bad now and they were good at the start of the school. South Pitt is better than Whitwell and I think SM beat them every year but maybe the first year. SM dominated RB. The non district schedule they played was much tougher as well as their district schedule. Maybe the can win out for the old Troll.

Whitwell is a good team, but no where near the South Pitt teams that played Signal Mountain when BP was coaching at Signal. Signal has turned into a finesse team on both sides of the ball, which will be hard for them to ever to have much success against a team like Whitwell. Signal has to get more physical and if they ever really want to be good again. Their schedule gets really easy now, so we will see. They should be able to win them all except SD.

The mystic of the Creekbank won't come to Cookeville

Your right the Rebs do have a good offense and actually a solid defense. Maybe we will you see us down the road in Cookeville after your field beats Signal...you cant take it with you.

The funniest thing about this whole thread is how Trousdale has the big advantage with playing Signal at the Creekbank. The consistent message through the whole thread from Trousdale is the magic and mystic of the Creekbank, which obviously has been an advantage over the years. Would the game be different if they played in Cookeville? Who will ever know, but making Signal travel could be a positive for them. Big time players like the big stage and it sounds like Signal has a few big time players.

No disrespect for TCA or Humboldt. They will also be a battle with either team.

I would have never thought SM would score that many points on FCS. I know FCS is very good defensively and I expected them to play Trousdale this week. I actually expected to play FCS in Cookeville since they could have easily beat Trousdale earlier this year. I was really hoping SM’s offense was all hype. Hopefully Trousdale can take them out next week. Actually, I hope both teams beat each other up so bad they cannot play the next week. It should be a battle…advantage to Trousdale at the Creekbank, but it appears to be hard to rattle the SM team. Can Trousdale cover the big fast SM wide-outs will be the question. This will be a tough Game for the Rebs but they will prevail. If we win win this one and we will be in finals!

I must be ignorant...I assume every kid that goes to a private school is recruited to attend for a particular reason whether is a Christian Education, which you need to learn something about calling folks ignorant, athletics etc. I assume if you want to provide your own transpiration and pay tuition, you can live anywhere and attend FCS. No child is zoned to attend your school. A private HS with 200 students should always have an advantage in having a good mix of students. Your comment still makes me laugh.

LOL...This is a funny comment coming from a private school. If you were a public school it would have some merit, but you would be in 1A for play-offs. All 190 kids attending your school are zoned for a public school, so every kid was recruited to attend your school and you know that. I am sure you can attract 6 kids per class or 20 kids total every year that are quality football players. Go Rebs!
