  1. Honestly being second place in the district isn't very impressive considering the talent in the district is down this year. I wouldn't say his coaching skills are subpar, the way he runs practice and the overall attitude he brings to the locker room is where he is the problem. When I was there he pretty much ran the team already (2012 state tourney team). I will give him the credit of being able to get his kids small college scholarships though. Thinking about my comment earlier was probably a little too early to be judging and calling for his job. heck, who else would they hire.
  2. Brooke Copeland at Bradley. Surely she has to be in the running for top score. She had 40 in a game this past week.
  3. It is almost funny how bad he coaches his team. They aren't running an offense or defense that reflects the talent his players have. I think the team has a lot of talent, although it is young, it is still good potential D1 in a few years. East Ham may want to take a serious look into finding a new coach. Not saying that Ooltewah is coached much better though. From my own experience, former player, Montgomery (the kinda interim coach) is not a respectable candidate to replace Nayadley.
  4. You will know which one is the feature back when you see him. haha He is the one lined up in the backfield that looks like he should be on the line somewhere, but #28.
  5. Where is Bryce Copeland on the list?! Sadik Spence is alright, but top 3 AND not a senior? I don't think so. I also think you guys have Antonio Jackson a little over rated. He likes to be more highlight oriented which causes a lot of turnovers, not great on defense either. I would say Stedmon is the best in the city, if not the whole Chattanooga area. If vonn bell plays basketball this year he should be on the list somewhere as well.
  6. They will run the ball until the other team can stop them, I blieve pittman had something like 38 carries last week. Also be worried about special teams, if the owls get to return a kick they have one great returner in Mclain #5.
  7. Ooltewah leans on a heavy run from a stable of solid backs; Desmond Pittman being the feature back, and one big guy to try and tackle (the only guy I've ever seen to play RB and D tackle). The owls defense is always strong, they picked off 5 passes last week against Anderson County and returned two for TD's. If LC relys on the pass, and they can get a few quick hits they might be able to do well. If they rely on developing routes they will be in for a long night with the Owl pass rush and d backs covering.
  8. Where is Bryce Copeland from Bradley? Jamaal Calvin from Mccallie?
  9. So your predicting Ooltewah to lose to McMinn tonight? That might be hard to believe the way they are playing here lately.
  10. Give all credit to Rhea County, but there is no excuse for why Ooltewah should have lost to them. The players weren't playing very well together (coach only plays about 6 or 7 anyways). Alot of easy missed shots and turnovers, they pressed alot in the game and it wasn't working and kept doing it (thats on coach). But overall, I'd say they were just out coached in that game, Nayadley showed no actual intensity or any intent to win the game.
  11. Stedmon Ford- Notre Dame D.J. Bowles- Cleveland Bryce Copeland- Bradley Central Antonio Jackson- Ooltewah Reggie Upshaw- Baylor Terrance Odonohue- Mccallie Cody Knox- East Hamilton These are just the few that I know of, all are very impressive!
  12. They have their days talking about shooting but are usually good shooters. As far as coaching....I wouldn't say well coached, I'll leave it at that. Owls lost to Rhea by 4 on Friday...
  13. With their best player hurt, Stovall out (shoulder correct me if im wrong), Chastain's hand. They other players will have to step it up and I don't see how they will be able to make up for what they've lost.
  14. I don't see bradley doing very well without Copeland
  15. They could've both been in round two if not for injuries or suspensions to key players, so yeah they were pretty good. And as for basketball, they have no need Bradley's point guard just snapped his arm in half (prayers to him), Ooltewah has the best team in the area once again, hopefully they can finally beat Cleveland; but that's for another thread.
