A decent coach could have this team back in the playoffs next year. The reason this job is attractive is the fact Sequatchie has the best facilities for a public school in SE Tennessee. Also with the talented youth coming in the new coach has a solid foundation set to succeed for a good while.

Keep Schmidt in Jasper, he is there problem. The other 3 are great choices, the only problem is Georgia pay compared to Tennessee and Curt only having a few years experience. I think this time you hire someone with experience and have Curt the top choice next go around.

Coach White is a great guy but isn't a great coach. The middle school group he has had was made by the coaches in the Little League program.

Who be interested if Coach Allen would come over from Chatt. Central, or go after Coach Owensby since he left Bledsoe and was great with the offense.

Montgomery was at Whitwell and Central as head coach, and Jones was most recently at Meigs Co. A lot of players really like these two.

Old Pirate I have already hear that name, but we have two former head coaches on staff with Coach Montgomery and Coach Jones.

This is truly a national tragedy, Roy maybe some young child has picked it up and is gaining unbelievable knowledge from reading your notes.

If Marion can stay up, Grundy, Bledsoe, and Sequatchie all have very good young kids coming up. Next 4-6 years could be very good for the valley.

Ran into a recruiter from Presbyterian in Cookeville and he recognized the Sequatchie shirts we had on and introduced himself and said he was recruiting Lil'Man and Lankford. We talked a little football and he asked my brother about the Pitt game last year, what it was like playing them, and it the two running backs were really that good. I said two of the best I have ever seen and then my brother said the two best he has ever played against.
