  1. Everything I've heard says, they have a few holes in their line, and are currently relying a lot on a Freshman that will more than likely be all district in 3 sports and more than likely poty in two of them, and football isn't it. He's very talented.
  2. I'm excited to see it. I like seeing smaller schools putting it together.
  3. You all really think they'll beat Harriman? They improved a lot this offseason. If both have improved as much as you're saying, I'm excited to see that matchup later on.
  4. Us as well, as the talent gets a little better.
  5. I believe they will compete with more teams in the district this year. Harriman's real offense went off the field at halftime. And that's why it wasn't any worse than what is was. Harriman started subbing a few guys a little too early on defense and Hancock put one up before halftime, and then again with about 5 minutes to go. Harriman looked alright. There were some things to improve on, but isn't that the case after week zero for everyone?
  6. Figures.. But maybe this is the last year we'll have to deal with it.
  7. He was very good. But Grace is still Grace. I'm sure they'll find multiple ways to fill his shoes.
  8. If everyone thinks they're up, could this be the year someone knocks them off? Not for the Championship, but I mean just beats them in regular season. I know they lost a few lineman, and their very talented quarterback. How big will that be? Will they feel those shoes or will people be able to key a little more on the run game?
  9. I think this Harriman team would be last years Harriman team by 3 touchdowns. The offense has been very predictable in years past, but they have added quite a bit of new stuff this year. How much of that stuff we'll see is a question but they are much improved from what I've seen so far. How the do under the lights is a question, but their defense is better right now than it's been in a while. The last few years have been really disappointing but this team has a new feel to it. I could be completely wrong, but I like what I've seen in the preseason.
  10. They were really tough scrimmages, but for the schedule we have they should do nothing but help. There's not really an extremely talented team on schedule until we get to district play. Good luck to you fellas out there too!
  11. Kee Harriman has looked really good this summer against a couple of tough teams in scrimmages and such. They added some talent where talent was needed. Their timing has been on point and they are mixing things up and throwing some new things in. They played close with Oneida, tied with Kingston, and had a couple of turnovers in that Kingston scrimmage that would have went for points but got blown dead. They are a lot better on the defensive side of the ball. They're buying into the system and they're buying into each other. They may surprise some people.
  12. a couple of their skill players are younger.
  13. I think Rockwood will have a down year (in comparison to recent years) this year. They're real young and just didn't look all there. But you can never tell with Coach Webb. He's a great coach and they could end up surprising me. But for now I'll take Oneida by a couple touchdowns, with the potential of their depth running away with it.
  14. Harriman didn't have any problems with Oliver Springs at all. Beat them in most aspects of the game. Kingston and Oneida was a good one. That would have been a good game to watch in regular season, but I think Oneida would have beaten them by a touchdown or two. Rockwood and Sunbright was a good one as well as neither team scored. Didn't expect Sunbright to have much success on Rockwood but both teams moved the ball easily but a couple turnovers and sacks kept both teams from converting. I didn't get to see much of the Midway one, but from what I saw Midway had a few key pieces on the sidelines watching.
  15. I was very impressed watching Oneida in the scrimmage against Harriman. I was again impressed with Oneida last night in the jamboree. You guys will be very good this year. You beat a big Harriman team up front on offense and your linebackers made plays on defense. I didn't like what I saw in Rockwood last night. They weren't very big up front and Sunbright was making stops on them and seemed to make plays offensively and move the ball on Rockwood. Again it was only one quarter but I don't see you all having a lot of difficulty matching up skill wise on Rockwood, but they do have one of the more underrated coaches around in Coach Webb.
  16. Tellico will have alot of their starters back from injury except the running back and quarterback.. They've not had their offense figured out all year. But now they have a big guy runnin the ball downhill. It may be close.
