It will be a good game to watch..... I would say Milan a few times also if my beat them, most fans in PC like to bring up the teams they defeated also. I think a few similarities in the coaching department will show also, the Defensive line has to play top notch for Perry County. Also, if you take away crossing routes, the playbook will probably go to the run game, and the screen game, and the Deep game. It's just a matter of how much time he can get to determine the route taken by the offense. Huntingdon is very good, no doubt about it, and no arguing the fact. Yes, they beat Milan, who is considered one of the Best from the West. So give credit where it is due, and yes, Wayne County has a premier secondary, but their D line caused havoc for Tucker, that plays into the hands for the guys behind them, LB's included, when time is in their favor. It's talent on talent this week, it comes down to who catches the breaks and who can muster their team through a tough challenge. good luck to both teams.

Teams in this region match up differently against each other. Mt. Pleasant has a tremendous amount of athletes,but with a young line and inexperienced recievers it is hard to say they matched up well against Perry County. Wayne County has an offensive line that is downright good, they come off the ball and hit with authority. Columbia Academy has a good ground attack, but without several big plays, passing or running, it is hard for the offense to play to perfection all night, more plays you run, the more chances you have to turn the ball over against good teams. Which on the other hand, Wayne County seems to do very well this year, they are no joke whatsoever, and Perry County has a hard nosed defense with several athletes who can make turnovers happen, forced or unforced you have to get the ball away for it to be a turnover. Oh yea, and the offense has ran several different schemes along with their Spread passing, you better be on your game against the Multiple looks they bring to the table. This will be a good game, no matter what experts say or do on the board, games are played under the lights on Fridays.

Lewis County has had a few transfers come in recent years and play magnificently their Junior or Senior year, Ellis Dailey, who is also related to Marco Dailey, came in and played his senior year. But honestly, what kind of creepy coach are you if you go and follow players around town in your free time? You run by the house at night on the weekends? Do you call the house just to ask if all the family is in? Do you follow Mom to work to see where she goes afterward? Or, do you handle it when the situation arises? Rules were broken, who cares who blew the whistle, the accused have the legal right to know who brought up the accusation. So let them find out and know who said they were breaking the rules. It is their business, no need to grab the pitchforks unless called to. The situation was handled promptly and accordingly to TSSAA rules. There is no gray area with the rules and they have to be followed. The Coaches and team handled the situation as soon as they could, otherwise there would be 5 vacated games. Someone wasn't telling the truth and as we all know the truth shall set you free. But, also, Some can't handle the truth. I hate this for the players accused, it is a sad day knowing that you have been told you cannot play a sport that you have so much fun playing. Honestly, I think the players just want to move on, and it's hard to with all of the drama surrounding the team. Go to the News Channel 5 site and watch the story. Most questions will be explained there, remember also, that if this happened later in the year, without the school officials knowing it could have been a lot worse.

I know a few coaches at the high school level who can run the veer in many different sets, looks, and blocking schemes.they even have a few trick plays and called plays to give an to keep. Belly, G, and Con Option to name a few I know off hand. Most plays are called in order to get a playmaker the ball, just like any other offense. The veer can be almost impossible to defend without a major factor, a great EDGE player whether it be a defensive end or outside linebacker plays into the type of defense ran. Bland has to have a fantastic game, along with #84. But that is only a factor if both sides of the Defense is effective. Gap control tells the story this week for the Bulldogs, Wildcats make their own holes with a physical line. Bulldogs can keep it close and possibly a game if the two men I mention before can out play the play callers..... Good luck to both teams

Also, I meant by the receiving core bringing out his physical side running the ball because the WR's are going to make plays down field, they roll about 6 deep in PC right now and when they can pull 7 into coverage he can find a seam.

I have witnessed both players first hand, and the difference is mostly seen in the players around him, Ward had Risner, Rich, Victory, and a physical line. The WR core at Perry County forces Tucker to be a more physical aspect to his team. Both are outstanding players but the comparisons must start at how that adapt to their surroundings, and both adapted very well. They are both outstanding QB's

Wayne County is Veery impressive, it's spelled correctly, and also they have played a physical schedule these past few weeks. Mr. Butler and Mr. Rice have found that "DERN" Veer seem, Mathis seems to bring a physical blocking and receiving presence to the edge, and Butters Skelton has the play making ability any coach would love to have on his team. Perry County scrimmaged Huntingdon without Dill and Rhodes, they also have a "will" to win. 6 different WR's with multiple catches and Touchdowns..... ahem, and could give any secondary a ton of fits, since the factor of a QB taking off comes into play. The state championship hasn't been "GIVEN" away the past few years, so no need in handing it to the Pirates or Tornadoes just yet there, Debbie Downer(4thinches) South Pittsburgh is currently plagued with a ton of injuries from the sounds of things also the strongest part of their game has been questioned, but not tested, which is their line. That will answer a few of my questions this week. Even Jo Byrns was feeling the injury bug for a couple of weeks due to the revamped physical schedule that Coach Adkins put into play this season. Also, Frank the Tank has come to play the last two weeks after nursing a couple nagging injuries. Look out for a Dark Horse in Columbia Academy to come into play in the next few weeks, with chances to knock off PC and WC in the near future, the Bulldogs look to show their worth to the region and the state, they will face McEwen this week, they often has a well coached team. Why is there so much Hype? Why are players shooting birds and running down other players? If this will be a blowout, then why does this game even have to be played? Probably because anything can happen during a game, and emotions run very high during preseason activities. Also people fail to realize that a team is usually at it's worst during first of the season. Perry County will have plenty of warm up games to Lewis County with their tough scrimmages and game in Week 0. It will be a great contest, no matter what people say on here, the game is played between the pylons on Fridays.

Perry County had some bad luck and dropped passes in the Redzone against Riverside, it happens. How did that Mt. Pleasant "Powerhouse" treat you in McKenzie? Almost an order of Whineburgers and French Cries for the Rebels. Focus on the positive "Moderator!"
