TCA relies too much on guard play and lacks inside game at times which will keep them from going deep. outstanding guards and shooters but they do not feed the post enough to develop akin and smith and their improvement has stalled this year. just my opinion. They wont make it as far as they think unless that changes

crafty former razorback knows a lot of basketball and if the boys listen and implement his work ethic, they will have an advantage.

The varying roster numbers for each team is an interesting conversation. Why does Webb have so few players that are on the varsity roster? Seems like it would be a good atmosphere to be on such a winning team and more people would want to be part of it.

SBEC did not score an offensive point against USJ as their 12 points were scored by defense on turnovers. They scored 26 on DCA. Whats that mean? I dont know if it means anything but USJ does have a solid defense. I think both sides are expecting a good matchup and a fun friday night . The interesting matchups of the night will be the Harding size versus the the speed of Webb and also the rematch of Fayette-ECS as Fayette upset ECS earlier this year..

Replying to DC nation post: don't know what it means but Memphis area team SBEC beat Davidson Academy earlier this year by 20 and SG beat FRA. thats the only 2 cross state games within division i see this year.

fayette academy will beat jcs and sbec will beat facs. fayette academy has a kid you cant catch and sbec has a very smart coach.

my thoughts about these 2 unbeaten teams is that they have some similarities. Looking at the schedules they score roughly 35 each game and give up less than 9 points per game defensively. They both seem to prepare well and fridays contest should be a great high school football game. You can still see a little bit of the black eye on the Bruins from the State game last year so with a chip on their shoulder I give the edge to the Bruins.

..and to think we are being governed by people that don't even want us anyway.

As stated earlier someone really should send them an email and tell them about the obvious discrepancy in the two leagues. ....make sure to include the stats of the ECS-Briarcrest game. Yes, ECS lost but clearly won in all other categories. I think some of the teams in D2A play a better football game than people give em credit for.

I agree with those stats, haywood has lost more in past 5 years than they have previous 95 years. the ship seems to be headed in right direction. They have a lot of fight in them this year and have responded better each game. ...bout time for another upset..just ask Dyer County.

great update trojan fan. the JCS-FA game wont be close. JCS a great set of christian folks but FA will win by a lot. I have heard that DA has had some crucial ijuries in past couple weeks so FRA and webb look to be best two teams in the East. Does anyone from the East disagree with that?

what will happen to d2-aa if BGA does go down and Pope John Paul goes public and this ensworth rumor becomes a reality. This wouldn't leave many teams.
