If it is infact Tony. SC will be better for it. He's a great person and and has done as much at LV as anyone ever could have. If puzzled me how it's taken this long for a bigger program to show some interest in this fellow. Great offensive minded guy and will be able to tailor his offense to the type kids he has to work with. It would be a great loss for LV and a huge gain for SC if the rumors are accurate.

I have a question for the Marion faithful. If RR bolted for Ridgeland after just one year and causing the principle some heartburn would the purple faithful be greatful to RR for the year they had and getting the program back to the big dance or would they be upset that he left the county once again?

Well that's interesting. If not mistaken Warren is also the athletic director and grew up at the school he is now head coach just can't see him leaving so that one is interesting. Webb I'm sure would love to try his hand at a bigger school. He has done a great job with what he has to work with usually around 20/25 kids. Very good offensive minded guy and is very loyal to his program been at same school like 13 or 14 years and has had some very good teams.

So what's the latest? Talked to a central staffer today and was informed that they haven't confirmed a new head coach yet. Was this staffer misinformed?

Hearing that a college coach, a head coach from the Chattanooga area and a head coach from a rural georgia county are the front runners. Hearing the same??

I think one to consider would be Mark Mariakis. Just resigned a few weeks back. Couldn't find a better leader and person. Has his 30 in Georgia and is used to bigger programs like Cleveland. Would probably be up for double dipping for several more years. And you would get all the Wing T you would ever want.

Well on a serious note for u that are closer to the situation we have confirmed another coach out and reports are that Bloodsaw is the man. For it or against it really doesn't matter at this point since it looks to be a done deal. So with all that who stays and who goes as far as assistants? Does he bring in some of his middle school people? Or will he need to go outside for some assistance?
