Soddy will be a factor in AAA. Lost all state in Renfro, pitcher Lloyd, and RF Wilson. Coach Nunley-Moore will have the Trojans contending again come May.

Looks like Sequatchie should have saved some of those runs up when they were trying to embarrass York and Jackson Co.

I think the top 4 all avoided each other first round. Its Summertown as the favorites IMO then probably Huntland, Eagleville, and Sale Creek in that order.

Eagleville pulled every starter but CF after 8-0 huntland lead. Kids played 14 innings the night before but give Huntland credit they were fired up and ready to play. Score was a little inflated. Both squads im sure will be ready tomorrow night.

Danley with 15 ks for Huntland and Linton for Eagleville with 10ks and the win. Well played game by both squads. Expect both teams to have deep runs in May.

These are the teams in my opinion who will be in murfreesboro, which in the big picture is all that matters. Unfortunely Huntingdon has to go thru CA and Summertown (which I have both seen) and I think they both get to the Boro. Fillies,Unaka, and Moore Co. are much better than Dresden and Union City, but that isn’t what my list is about. Good luck and may I be wrong about Huntingdon lol.

Also, tssaa umpires went away from bat checks two years ago and only look at bat/stamps if protesting a bat from the defensive team. They do not get a list of illegal/ legal bats and will only go off what is stamped on the bat.

The blue ghost is legal, the gold ghost is illegal. IF the gold ghost is found to have an ASA stamp on it it is an altered bat since you cannot buy a gold ghost with said stamp on it. Said bat should be confiscated by the umpires and turned into state office per a TSSAA official.
