  1. Yes, CA won in OT. Collinwood went for 2 after their TD.
  2. Our QB last year was a senior (Conn), but he was injured most of the year. I can't remember if he played against y'all or not. Our QB now is a sophomore (Robinson), he played some last year when Conn was injured.
  3. Still hoping one can! I joked with my kicker that he might have to play QB...
  4. Our running back went down in the first quarter and now our freshman QB is out too. Sure hate to see them hurt
  5. Yes he is, he started working with James about this time last year. Last season he just punted, but this year does it all since our kicker graduated.
  6. I sure hate to hear he's not well, hope they get that figured out soon! Mine's been fighting a partially torn quad all season, I sure hated that for him his senior year
  7. NCSdad, wasn't your son the kicker? Did I hear he is at Western Ky? If so, how's he liking it? My son is CA's kicker, he is very interested in Western as well
  8. How far away is Perry County from Wayne County? Just trying to mentally prepare for that long drive again! Hoping for a great game! Go Cougars
  9. Congrats Huntingdon on the win. I was out of town all week, got back just in time for the game. Ya'll have impressive facilities and an even more impressive team. It didn't help that we had 3 starters on crutches (including our QB), but I'm not sure it would have mattered much. Ya'll pretty much scored every time you touched the ball with the starters in. Good luck the rest of the way- Hope your injured player is ok, hate seeing any of the boys get hurt.
  10. CA 42-6 final now for a really long drive home! 😊
  11. Here's the link to our local paper if you are interested. Safe travels tonight! http://www.theleafchronicle.com/story/sports/high-school/2015/09/03/cougars-face-stiff-test-against-region-foe-wayne-county/71669106/
  12. I sure hope #15 is playing! (although I have not heard that and I saw him today) He's a great kid and a leader on and off the field. Been best friends with my son since they were 7 years old
  13. There's always a lot of tailgating going on at the game, usually starts around 5:00. There are two really good restaurants within a mile or so. One is Liberty Grill which is right down from the Complex on your left. The other is right around the corner on Riverside Dr and is called Pbody's. Both have a back deck that looks out over the river.
  14. yes, when you are coming up 13, it will be on your left My son was #2, he was a receiver and corner. We had a great group of seniors that year!
  15. It's a long drive for sure! I remember when CA played Wayne Co in the playoffs about 4 years ago. It was my oldest son's senior year. Hwy 13 will bring you right to the football field though. The sports complex is not at the school so make sure you don't put the school address in your GPS. The best address to use is 100 Greenland Farms, Clarksville, 37040. This is the house across the street from the Sports Complex. Safe travels to you all!
  16. That's a really intelligent remark... a small history lesson for you: Austin Peay was the Governor of Tennessee.
  17. I wasn't making any excuses, was stating the facts and answering the question. They hit great! And they won. If you don't want an answer to the question, skip the reply
  18. Cougars are really young this year, starting 3-4 freshmen every game. We also have had two starters out due to injury. Hope they are back soon! Also, Nashville Christian hit the ball REALLY well in both games! Their leadoff batter probably had 6 hits in the two games.
  19. I'm just listening too, couldn't get a video to open
