As far as NJ coaching search is concerned, they will hire McKinney. His dad used to coach Stevenson. He will be the next head coach down there.

If you want to find out more on Coach Ross all you have to do is a search on google. There are tidbits of information out there that would show you what people think of him. I have heard nothing but great things about him from peer coaches of his, to players, to people in the community. I think it is a great hire. Welcome Coach Ross!

I agree that this game will go a long way in deciding a state champion, but whoever is fortunate enough to win this game will still have their hands full with Greenback and Huntingdon.

It seems last year SP fans were predicting a couple TD win and Gville fans were predicting a close win for the Tigers. The final was 32-14 in favor of SP. this year it is the exact opposite. Gville fans are predicting a couple TD win and SP fans are generally predicting a close win for SP. So, might we have a similar score to last year's game but just in reverse? I hope not!

I thought it was pretty good. Mainly the part concerning what happens on the weekends.

I stand corrected concerning the mc pass attack. I was basing it on the sp game. Several quick sideways passes to zenman were effective during that game. The downfield passing was not effective.

Marion cannot pass. For the most part they have not had to because of zeman.

I think Marion wins without much trouble. Trousdale is not standard Trousdale this year. They are Bizzaro Trousdale.

If 1A is weak in the west this year then more 1A teams from the east may wind up in the playoffs which could potentially throw SP into the West side of the bracket. That would throw a wrinkle into things. It actually almost happened a couple years ago.

Consolidation has been inevitable for 20 years. Probably still be calling it inevitable in 20 more. What matters is the kid. Not the size of the school. A kid can get a great education anywhere if he/she puts the time into it. A lazy student will be a lazy student at a big school or a small school. They are not going to automatically change because now they have the option to take French instead of just Spanish.

Not saying anyone on jasper or whitwell could not start at SP. just saying they would not really add much other than depth. And that is this year. The last 3 years depth would not have even been added. I think BZ is a great offensive player but whose spot would he take in the SP backfield this year?
