Congrats MC...you guys played a great game. Ross has the team looking good...I was excited when we hired him and very disappointed when it did not work out...now I see why I was excited. He is the real deal.

Nobody has said 5, 1, and 12 are as good as 9 at this point in their careers but they are talented young players. 9 was our best player and losing him hurts. If we compare scores let's compare Grundy scores. I like that comparison better. Plus it makes more sense because we were running a different offense when we played seq and whitwell than we are now. We experienced improvement on the offensive side when we went back to wing t and the Grundy game was the first time we ran it. We had 9 then though too...

Hey farmboy...which team got players, yes multiple, kicked out of the game for fighting? That would be coalfield. And yes it has happened before. You guys should not even have the opportunity to host a playoff game. Just stick to the farm

When my team loses I just want to go read or watch a movie and forget about football...lol....congrats to UC! You guys have a great team! Expect you guys to be hoisting it again next year...I do wish we had a healthy 6 though...he not been healthy since Moore Co....bummer....I am off to read a book now.

It seems like we (SP fans) are the only ones who never think the current team is as good as some of the past championship caliber teams we have had. All other teams we play seem to feel the current year's team is better than what they had previously. Not sure why that is. Just an observation.

I think we may be better defensively next year....offensively, not so much, but potential is still there. Avoidance if injuries will be key due to minimal depth.

Michael Jordan was known as the best trash talker ever. Guess what? He won championships. If you don't like the talk do something about it on the field with your play. CF couldn't so they decided to fight. They have been involved in several such instances with other teams. I found it amusing all their fans immediately knew all of the ejection rules. The reason? They have subjected themselves to it on several different occasions.

Well that line is smaller than the one we faced last week...lol

If UC wins this game they will have a great chance of claiming 2 in a row....hoping they don't get a chance to do that

Murfreesboro. Period. It is centrally located. Easy access. Plenty of places to stay and eat. Easy access/parking. The fact that it is in Cookeville is a complete joke and everyone in the state associated with high school football knows it.

Hues man is a slot receiver playing QB. When I saw him play the state champ game for Baylor I thought the same thing. Good football player / athlete. Not a QB.

The NFL average per carry is over 4 ypc. That is the highest standard. Average ypc in college is higher than that and average ypc in high school is higher than college.

I am not speaking ill of his character. I am sure he is a great young man. He is just a pedestrian QB. That is why their offense dinks and dunks and plods along. In 5 of his 11 games this year he averaged 3.8 yards per carry or less. The fewest carries he had in any of those games was 12. Furman and Samford were the only decent teams in the SoCon this year (and GA southern to some extent) and the play in those games was not so good (good rushing stats against Ga southern)Passing stats are very pedestrian especially when you look at yards per attempt. The UTC offense was not dynamic at all.
