If they meet up with a team that can stop them from getting around the ends then they'll be in trouble, just not sure anyone can do it other than Cornersvilke, they have the best shot on this side of the state. We've all been blessed to watch this group over the last 10-12 years, they are a great group of kids on and off the field and have made the community very proud! I hate seeing their careers end with all these injuries but glad to see all but a couple back

Nine weeks minimum with no weight on it, thanks to all for the kind words and I just pray for an injury free game this week

I really appreciate that and he will to, it's going to be tough but we will be there supporting our cats as always. This will be the first game in the last twelve years that I don't have one suited up for WC, pretty emotional for me. He has surgery lined up for Wednesday morning but says he will be there Friday night taking on a new role from the sidelines.

It's in the making for two good semi final games, I'm thinking you'll have Huntington vs Cville on this side with both teams killing their opponents and Greenback and SP on the other side doing the same. I'd hate to bet the farm on who wins gold this year!

WC has had their struggles this year but don't think they'll lay down for this game, they'll bring all they got. Injuries here and there up front has hurt, just got one lineman back last week only to have lost a starting defensive tackle the same week, lost another senior tackle that plays both sides go out in the third quarter last night with a broken leg that's started every game of his high school career. I really thought WC was ready to play and things were coming together but tonight was the worse WC team to take the field in many years. Riverside played a great game and beat WC in every phase of it, it's gut check time for WC, they're better than this and better make their minds up real quick if they want to play or they won't win another game this season!

They're not down, few injuries and just not in rhythm don't make you down, they haven't hit the panic button yet

How does a team like Grace go from having a season like they did last year to talking about forfeiting the season or not showing up for games this year? If they don't show up they should be fined a ridiculous amount and banned from the post season for years! Oh and Cville will have this one under control by middle of first quarter

Y'all just keep hating on WC, we like the underdog role. Does anybody know the overall win/loss record teams from the east have against WC over the last ten years or so? It's not good for WC's opponents so keep thinking what y'all are thinking

Stown is much improved from last year and have good size up front, they're defiantly making the turn that we all knew would come eventually

Going to be tough going to Riverside, always tough even when they're not that good. This will be the third 2a team WC has faced this year, struggled with one and never got in track with the other, offense looked much better last week as far as blocking, rhythm and timing. Defense better get their act together on the deep ball or we in trouble, had several last week go for the interception when should have just knocked it down but lesson learned. Can't wait til Friday!

Thanks and glad you enjoyed our little stadium by the creek, lots of people complain about it but it's a special place to most of us who was raised up here. I will say I like the fight in the Middleton boys, they're a scrappy bunch that never quit from start to finish, good luck to y'all the rest of the way also

According to unapproved website Stown has 38 players on roster with 20 being either juniors or seniors

WC wins 59-30, offense looked much smoother but defense still not getting the job done, giving up to many big plays although two of Middleton's scores were against our freshman and sophomores
