Also, your post reeks of stupid. Do you play schools from Memphis? With open zoning they all recruit up there. The metro schools in Nashville have ways that have allowed them to go out and recruit kids to their school because they offer classes that other schools don't. A lot of counties will allow students to go anywhere if a parent works in the system, so recruiting goes on in public schools to "friend!" Can't wait for your next whiny schoolgirl post.

Your posts seem to be the only ignorant thing here my friend. Goodpasture couldn't drop from 2A straight to DII. As I said I was at the game and if anyone was showing poor sportsmanship it was a guard from Gordonsville. He got called for at least one intentional foul early in the game and looked like he was head hunting the rest of the night. I can't say for certain, but that might have played a part in the final score. No need to get heated, good luck down the road. We play Goodpasture early Jan. should be a good game.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I don't think the Goodpasture coaching staff care anything about your opinion. You keep whining about them being a 2A in 1A that should be DII? Well they can't get to DII until they play in 1A since you can't move 2 classes. I was at the game and Goodpasture was very fun to watch, they were running the floor and sharing the ball very well, Gordonsville just couldn't keep up. I don't know to many teams that could. We play them in a couple of weeks and I am hoping for a good game. Does your team play them this year? If not, why do you care?

What is the word on this game? Trousdale is still playing football so I would imagine that might hinder how many players they will have. Plus with all the hoopla at the beginning of school coming out of Trousdale.

FRA and Knox Webb should dominate this side of the state with ECS coming out of the West. Not sure DCA has enough to get there.

Rumors flying around that after this huge debacle that has gone on at Ezell Harding, there are also planning on letting Coach Farmer go to? First the girls coach, then the President, now Coach Farmer. What is going on over there in Antioch?

Last year there were rumors floating around that BA was getting rid of their basketball coach. It looks and sounds like those rumors were just a year early. Supposedly we are about to let the coach go and start the process of getting a new coach. Let the names start coming, who do you think we will get? Here is my short list; 1. Hubie Brown (Ensworth) - obviously a winner wants to be coaching boys 2. John Pierce (FRA) - another winner, ship is sinking over at FRA. Now would be a good time to leave. 3. Adam Sonn (Goodpasture) - I wanted him last year when the rumors were flying around. He left USN for Goodpasture and won 20+ games.

Not Sycamore, wrong wareagles. If Im not mistaken the championship game was pretty close between Goodpasture and Sycamore though. Does it feel good to know you got a 4 point win at home where you shot 20+ more freethrows then the other team where the got 4 un warranted technical fouls and the refereeing was so bad that your own coach apologized for it after the game? Then to go to Goodpasture and get blown out of the gym. You want to complain about privates but do not even realize the huge differences between the small few that can go out and get players. How about scheduling the CPA's, ENSWORTH's, Brentwood Academy (War Eagles), MBA's , JPII and see what a game would be like against a highly recruited team that can really throw some money around. Good luck with Mr. Holt and company this weekend. Remember while your watching that game that Holt wasn't even considered for his District MVP.

Wow? MVP'S do not play in consolation games. Where was Trey when Sycamore beat Macon twice in a couple of weeks? Trey is a good player and I wish him the best of luck, the true MVP won the award.

Agreed, Christian Lynn is hands down the MVP of that district. Thre should be no real discussion on that.

How will this game decide #2 when Knox Webb holds victories over EH and DCA and from what everyone is saying FRA is the team to beat? Congrats to your son on his accomplishments.

Seems like every year someone starts a poll or asking who the top coaches are around the Mid-State. Here is my short list, feel free to add because I know there are several good coaches out there especially in Murfreesboro. 1. Bontrager, Ryan - Guy is a defensive guru and gets the most out of all of his players. Love his intensity. 2. King, Brentwood - Always seems to have a good team, another one who pulls it out of his players. 3. Perce, FRA - Great player, great coach. Calm demeanor, real teacher of the game. 4. Sonn, Goodpasture - Won at USN (Highly rare), now is taking a team that was a bottom dweller and has them towards the top of their district. **Maddux & Bowers are good coaches, but I would like to see what they could do with a team that wasn't hand-picked and delivered to them.**

Not sure how FRA underachieved and choked last year. They lost in a substate game where their best player sat for almost two quarters because of a team rule. Player got a tech and the rules are you get a tech you sit the quarter and the next. That was a big loss and the Memphis team got hot. So once again not sure they choked. I do belive they will breeze through their region and their only real competition will be from the west.

Dirty rumor going around is that Nichols from Briarcrest is seriously considering becoming a vol next year. Has anyone heard anything about this? I know tennessee is on his list but cannot fathom why he would pick them over Duke or even Vanderbilt.

I think #70 is D. Ewin who is a pretty good player. Supposedly the "Big Benchwarmer" has left the team. Not sure if this is true but that is one of a few rumors floating around about the DCA football players and coaches.

He does make a good point. Maybe bucksfan should spend more time working with this kid after practice instead of bashing another coach from dca who either quit or was fired? Hated to see the web score.
