  2. PRESEASON WRESTLING TOURNAMENT @ TULLAHOMA HIGH SCHOOL Teams from Cleveland, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, and Nashville areas are committed EVENT DATE: Saturday, November 9th, 2013 MATS: 5-6 mats will be used in the Main gym WEIGH-IN: Weigh-Ins will be conducted at YOUR site Thursday, Nov 7. Scratch weights should be taken right after your practice. Whatever the wrestler’s weight is at the end of practice is the scratch weight. *Because this is an early season scrimmage, we don’t want to focus on making weight. Hence, the reason for scratch weigh-ins. This also allows for teams to arrive later, for us to start earlier, and to speed up the event. We expect weigh-ins to be conducted properly and wrestlers to try maintaining their scratch weight rather than trying to gain advantage by putting on weight. 8. Nice work coach! Coach Vandergriff was also trying to do something like this for the coaches. It's nice to know what options you have.
  9. http://youtu.be/Ao8UbgSopD4 Can someone tell me what schools these kids go to? Thanks
  10. Did that this year. Had everything confirmed (was one of the first to do so) and no one showed up.
  11. http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/poll/_/id/4931 Any kind of exposure helps
  12. Region 4 1.Cleveland 2. Soddy Daisy Region 5 1.Wilson Central 2.Blackman
  13. We have started using it some this year and I love it. We had a certified crossfit instructor come and put the kids through a workout. Its everything you could want for wrestling training.(IMO) We plan to get serious with it during the offseason and incorporate it year around.
  14. Soddy Daisy Showdown 2013 Very Impressive list of teams! 15. "Chalifoux was 2-0 at the MBA Duals (MBA) including a 4-2 win over Cyree (Tullahoma)." This was Blake Cyree, not Devan Cyree. Sorry, had some people asking.
  16. I would be surprised to see many Bradley Wrestlers on this list. One thing I have learned being in Middle TN is that most schools wrestle Tri or Quad Meets. Bradley in the past usually wrestled a dual for most home matches . Also, Bradley used to attend 2 day tournaments which now it is rare to find a 2 day tournament (took away an extra date to wrestle 5 extra matches) . If you ever listened to records at the State Finals most Bradley Kids wrestled 30-40 total matches and everyone else seemed to have 40-60 matches
  17. Refer to the first post in this thread. R5 ANTIOCH CANE RIDGE LAVERGNE GLENCLIFF HUNTER LANE LEBANON MCGAVOCK MT. JULIET SMYRNA WILSON CENTRAL
  18. The regions posted up top are for the (Individual region) 2013-2014 wrestling season. Notice the small schools are taken out of this list and I will bump the thread for A-AA regions. This list could change by the start of next season if a A-AA school decides to move to AAA (which could change what teams go where)
